awesome backpack! was comparing this one to some of the competition like $300 the Yeti Panga. I was able to check out the Yeti at a store and The Breakwater Supply bag has the same if not BETTER quality than the Yeti backpack and only for a fraction of the cost! I would highly recommend Breakwater Supply waterproof backpacks to anyone looking for a fully waterproof submersible backpack.

This survival first aid kit itself is high quality and made in the same fashion as the dry bags that you would purchase for kayaking or canoeing. The size is ideal since it is big enough to have a robust amount of items that would be needed during a crisis situation, but small enough that it will fit under the seat in my Tacoma. However, it would also do well strapped to the outside of a ruck or in some easily accessible place in a boat or kayak. It is made of tough material so I do not anticipate snags being a serious issue, provided it is not subjected to excessive wear. After years in the military, the content reminds me of the things we had in our “combat life saver” bags. All of the needed things to perform self aid or buddy aid are present provided one has the appropriate level of training and familiarity with the items. This survival first aid kit seems to be designed for the more typical outdoors injuries of small cuts, burns, and abrasions. It does not come with things that are more suited to higher level trauma and wound care, such as Isreali bandages. Therefore, if you are looking for something outside of the hunting or combat realm, this survival first aid kit will suffice for nearly everyone.

So much more improved from my first backpack!

This backpack is heavy duty! I work as a camp counselor at an outdoor camp and have used it in various weather conditions (rain/shine) and at different nature spots (lakes, waterfalls, rivers, trails, etc). I haven't tested its waterproof claim yet (been meaning to do so in my bathtub), but I have worn it while it rained, and the stuff in my backpack was absolutely dry! The zippers are hard to move, but that's because they are supposed to prevent water from seeping through. I do like how there is a pocket you can slip your phone into that you can see on the outside, and the material covering your phone is thin enough so that you can still touch your phone screen! I prefer this backpack to the other ones that have the openings at the top that you have to roll down - it's so much easier just being able to unzip the backpack and grab what I need! I think the only thing that tripped me up at first was the price point, but, other than that...I would highly recommend this backpack! I haven’t used it for that long, but the quality looks/feels nice. The zippers need a bit of a tug to open, but there are loops that help with opening the zippers easily. It looks waterproof, but I haven’t tested it yet.

Really stylish and cool

This bag is awesome! Did exactly what we needed to do while in the mountains of the Dominican Republic. We literally let the bag float around in the springs while we jumped from spring to spring. It is not 100% waterproof as you can't sink it underwater and guarantee nothing won't get a little wet but it will float and keep your stuff dry from the splash and the rain which we were caught in while trekking back down the mountain. It is a really good quality bag. There is another from Breakwater Supply that is closer to 100% waterproof but is far more expensive may look into that one in the future but this bag works.

I added these carabiner hooks to my Osprey Aether 60 pack and my Camelbak daypack for overnight backpacking and day hike trips. So far they work well and have no issues holding my hydroflask 16oz water bottle or Camelbak water bottle. I'll update if they end up snapping or failing while hiking on the trail.

Super pleased with my Breakwater Supply purchases of the first aid kit and backpack for my camera gear. It's great peace of mind to be able to be on the water with both first aid and expensive camera gear.

Amazing backpack purchased after thorough market analysis. Love the design and practicality. I use it daily for work / leisure as well as for kitesurfing in all conditions. One needs to get used to the hard zipper and check it constantly not to compromise water resistance. Overall materials and performance are simply great. Customer service provided assistance immediately when needed. Could not have asked for more 🙌 .

Been using it every day and it holds up.

Great tote for picnicking and the beach

I have the 15L in Goshen Gray - this is one excellent pack! I took it for a week to Costa Rica and used it on the boat for Scuba (where we got soaked) and also hiking in the rain forest, where we were in heavy rain all day. On the boat I had my wallet, phone, dry clothes, etc. and in the rain forest I had my camera in a padded camera cube and other gear. In both cases, my stuff stayed bone dry. But not only that, the pack was very comfortable to hike with, the fabric looks amazing and it has great pockets for a waterproof pack (which are usually very sparse or empty on organization since it's not cheap to weld additional pockets into the pack). The upper inside pocket is really great for keys, etc and the main inside pocket is great to segment your gear so that the pack doesn't become one giant black hold. Also, the pack is super light and really strong and tough, so it packed really well and flat into my main travel bag (unzipped) and then was great when we arrived as a day pack. The top handle is really handy and the sternum strap works really well. Can't recommend this bag highly enough, especially at the price. Thanks for making this one guys, I'll probably be back for more sizes!

I use this tote for everything! It's been essential all summer. Keeps everything dry and I love the exterior pockets for wet clothes or my water bottles. It's so hard to find a waterproof tote and this one is beautiful and comfortable.

As someone who is constantly traveling, spending a lot of time hiking, kayaking, and exploring - this backpack is perfect. It's waterproof, sturdy, has a ton of space, and looks great. Highly recommend!
