This backpack exceeded my expectations at all levels! This backpack is 100% waterproof guaranteed! I was walking in a heavy down pour for several hours and all my personal belongings inside the backpack were dry. It is very comfortable to use this backpack while walking for several hours even carrying heavy size items due to the padded back support. I recently travelled with this backpack and it was really convenient because the backpack perfectly fitted below the sit inside the airplane and also it fitted perfectly on top of my 20” carry on luggage (it stands up-right on its own). I love all of the small details of the backpack, such as the carabiner loops (I used them to hang misc small items), waterproof phone pocket (I can use while being outside in a downpour or water-related sport or activities), and the mesh water pocket (I use my Miir 25.3 oz water bottle and it fits perfectly) Also, inside of the backpack it has a laptop sleeve (fits my 14” laptop perfectly) which is convenient when working remotely or working on the go). Moreover, it has two small pocket organizers that is useful for small size items like carabiner loops, portable chargers, etc. Also, it has a medium sized-zipper inside which you can use to store additional items. If you’re looking for a 100% waterproof, strong material, versatile use (commute, hiking, traveling and water-related activities or sports), then this is the ideal backpack for you. P.S. The only small quirk with the backpack is that due to the welded and waterproof zippers, it is kind of a struggle to open and close the zipper. However, there’s a simple solution. You can either use a lip balm or a silicone lubricant and the backpack will open and close very smoothly. Enjoy this Amazing backpack! :)Breakwater Supply Explorer Waterproof Backpack, 25L

These are lightweight and low profile. Great for light duty applications. Attaching gear to backpacks and such. I got these for hanging my child’s toys to the ceiling of my garage.Breakwater Supply Hingeless Carabiner 4-Pack

I purchased this bag for a trip to Maui's rain forest. I knew we would be in and out of the water and that it would be raining some of the trip. This bag did not disappoint! Not one drop of water got in the bag. I put everything from my phone, camera, extra clothes and food in there. The 25L left lots of room to carry others items. I was a little worried the light color would look nasty after a day in the mud, but it cleaned up well. The bag actually floated upright which was nice when I was in deeper water. Would definitely buy again.Breakwater Supply Fogland Waterproof Backpack

Absolutely perfect kit for the Appalachian Trail Thru hike. Hiking 2193 miles from Georgia to Maine, one can encounter a wide variety of injuries and dangerous situations. This kit has everything and then some! The water proof bag is the icing on the top and the lite weight the cherry on top!!!!! It worked perfectly as far and weight and packability. Knowing I could hang it on the outside of my pack if I needed the space was awesome. Thankful I didn’t have to use it but it will stay with me on this journey!!!Breakwater Supply Waterproof Survival First Aid Kit

The challenge of anyone setting off on a waterborne endeavor is how to both keep things dry and accessible. I purchased this backpack in an attempt to solve that problem for myself and I am glad that I did. The backpack is watertight while maintaining a level of accessibility that is needed when on the water and in confined spaces. Putting this backpack in front of me in my pack raft was the perfect solution for needing to keep my camera and lunch dry, but still needing to be able to get them. Other bags require the old fashioned roll down sleeve and buckle or the US Army wet weather bag’s double cinch approach. This waterproof zipper design is far better than either of those. Additionally, to economize space in the boat (very limited on a packraft) the compression strap helps keep the bag from taking up much-needed room. The phone pouch is, by far, the best feature of the backpack. I cannot tell you how many times I have been on the water and wanted the use of my phone for maps, texts, or other things while being terrified to take it out in fear of dropping it. Waterproof or floating cases help, but it also decreases the usability of the phone. This backpack keeps the phone safe while allowing you to use it. It is even better if you have a pair of Bluetooth earphones that will allow you to make phone calls while the phone is safe in the backpack. If nothing else, this feature alone is worth the purchase of the backpack in my opinion.Breakwater Supply Explorer Waterproof Backpack, 25L

Hello readers of the Breakwater Supply company reviews for the Explorer 25L waterproof backpack. I purchase my first Breakwater Supply bag in August of 2022. When it arrived in the mail it was on time with quick delivery. Showing excitement and ready to try out this new bag. Switching from a worn out a waterproof Patagonia 30L , after close to two-years of daily use. Which can be seen here on this YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFjKi95grHs YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynUjU2kMCuo The switch from the Patagonia to Breakwater Supply was helpful in keeping items separated and organized. It also stored all the personal property allowing everything to stay dry. Lowering any stress one might have when getting caught in the rain or on the boat with water splashing on deck. This is an awesome backpack for organized onshore fisherman who carry all there tackle and want to keep it dry. The primary Breakwater Supply backpack I use goes through ups and downs daily, with an average weight of ten pounds in the bag. Holding everything one might need and use for a business administrative lifestyle. Which in this case is education while in college over the next few years. Here comes the good news, this manufacture stands by there product with professional customer service and has provided a brand new Backpack after mine became damaged. If your looking to try a waterproof bag this company is offering a water tight sealed bag.Breakwater Supply Explorer Waterproof Backpack, 25L

This bag is awesome! Did exactly what we needed to do while in the mountains of the Dominican Republic. We literally let the bag float around in the springs while we jumped from spring to spring. It is not 100% waterproof as you can't sink it underwater and guarantee nothing won't get a little wet but it will float and keep your stuff dry from the splash and the rain which we were caught in while trekking back down the mountain. It is a really good quality bag. There is another from Breakwater Supply that is closer to 100% waterproof but is far more expensive may look into that one in the future but this bag works.Breakwater Supply Meanhigh Dry Bag Waterproof Rolltop Backpack, 25L

Just ordered this bag and had to try it out today on my paddle board. The design is so clean looking and the bag is perfectly functional. It fit everything I needed: towel, change of clothes, water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, phone, keys, and still had room to spare. Will definitely be taking this on all of my paddle boarding adventures! :)Breakwater Supply Fogland Waterproof Backpack

I bought this dry bag just to keep my items dry while kayaking on the lake, ocean, or hanging out on the beach. Wow, I was pretty surprised at the high quality of this bag. I love it. I placed my items inside rolled it up and carry like a backpack. I've left it out in the rain and even threw it in the water just to test it out and it actually floats. Everything stayed dry. I intended to store it inside the stern hatch of my sea kayak, but it's so damn good that I strapped it right onto the deck to save on storage space. I haven't fully submerged the bag and held it underwater because I can't really see anytime that it might be necessary or actually occur. I have purchased other dry bags specifically for kayaking and boating, this one is better than all of them. My new favorite bag. Big enough to travel with and small enough for a carry-on when flying. I really do like this bag. I'm looking for other items from the manufacturer. No issues so far and would certainly recommend this product.Breakwater Supply Meanhigh Dry Bag Waterproof Rolltop Backpack, 25L

Writing as a Divemaster, marine ecologist, and full-time PhD student who spends months of the year collecting data in the field. While I've yet to drag this backpack through its paces out on a fieldwork season, I've been pleasantly surprised with how robust it has been as an EDC backpack in adverse winter conditions. It's burly and rugged, and has a functionally minimalist design with plenty of external lash points and additional features. I picked this bag over alternatives such as the Patagonia Guidewater line or the Fishpond Thunderhead primarily because of its built-in laptop sleeve and double airtight pockets (one main compartment and one outside compartment). I don't regret this decision at all, and am pleasantly and plentifully surprised at how well-made and thought-out this product is. My only gripe so far is how small the external water bottle sleeves are—none of my water bottles fit in them, but it's also hard to whine about a feature that none of the other submersible packs on the market even have to begin with, so I digress. The hingeless carabiners are also sleek and functional and don't feel disposable. In short, this bag seems perfect for my demanding use cases, and my only suggestions are 1) bigger/more expandable water bottle sleeves, and 2) a clearer picture of Breakwater Supply's commitment to conservation and sustainability and how their products and materials reflect this focus. Thank you for this backpack Godsend!Breakwater Supply Fogland Waterproof Backpack

I’ve had this bag for a little while now. When it arrived I was very impressed with the quality. The back and the straps have neoprene padding and are comfortable to wear. You can use your touchscreen through the clear pocket. The quality of the materials used and the seams were good quality. Since receiving it I have done some testing and it has held up very well. I took it with me on a hike through the snow loaded with extra layers, a first aid kit, and my camera. The bag kept all my gear dry and was very comfortable during the hike. For my second test I stressed the seams to see how well they held up. I overloaded the bag and also pulled at the seams. The seams held up very well and there were no leaks afterward. For the final test I filled up my bathtub and completely submerged the bag. This test revealed small holes in the phone packet due to the way it was packaged for shipping. I reached out to the company and was quickly sent a replacement bag and they fixed the problem with the way it was packaged. The replacement bag had no holes and was waterproof as advertised. All in all it is a good looking high quality bag from a great company. I highly recommend this bag.Breakwater Supply Meanhigh Dry Bag Waterproof Rolltop Backpack, 25L

I actually bought this after I purchased their drybag backpack, which I LOVE! I usually use it when riding my bike, but I've taken it camping and to the river several times as well. Holding up great so far! The only issue I have with the first aid kit is that it says waterproof, but I'm not sure how since the zipper looks like a normal zipper. I might test it with all the paper things taken out, so, I'll update after that. Otherwise everything included is great!Breakwater Supply All-Purpose First Aid Kit for Car, Home, Office & Travel
