Added Exterior Utility

The outside pocket includes a welded d-ring on the inside – perfect for attaching keys or providing quick access to a multitool or fishing pliers.

The front of the pocket features a lash tab and included cam strap, to keep a small net or hiking poles within reach.

A MOLLE loop on the belt pass-through can face forward by flipping the Driftout Bag over and using it crossbody. This is useful for 2-way radios, sheaths, and other add-ons that use holster or belt clips.

What are the waterproof capabilities of the Driftout Waterproof Waist Pack?
The Driftout Waterproof Waist Pack is fully waterproof to the IP68 standard. When the top zipper is sealed shut, the waist pack is completely airtight, watertight, sandproof, and dustproof. It can be submerged underwater for extended time (30+ minutes) while keeping everything inside completely dry.
Will it float?
Yes, once the zipper is sealed shut, the Driftout Waterproof Waist Pack is completely airtight, fully waterproof, and floats.
What’s the inside configuration?
The inside is one open compartment with a card holder pocket on the inside front. The card holder is outlined in orange for visibility.
Do I have to worry about rust?
No. We use only materials and components that are non-corrosive to withstand saltwater and freshwater environments.
How big is it?
It’s a little bigger than a typical fanny pack, measuring 9″ long, 5″ high, and just under 3″ thick. (23cm x 13cm x 7.5cm). The top zipper opening is 8″ long (20cm) which makes it easy to insert and remove items like your phone, snacks, wallet, earpods, charger and power bank, emergency supplies, and other necessities.
Will it connect to my Breakwater Supply backpack?
Yes! The d-rings on the upper corners allow for easy attachment to your Fogland 25L or River Ute 20L backpack using our Hingeless Carabiners. The big bonus with this is it also allows easy access to the waterproof IP68 front pocket on your backpack as well.
Where should I use it?
Everywhere! If you’ve ever been stuck in the rain (who hasn’t?) out on the trail, the water, or on your bike, this is your waist pack. It’s also ideal at the waterpark or theme park (Disney), for travel, and at the beach.
Is there a warranty?
