Affiliate Program Terms of Use
Welcome to Team Breakwater Supply!
The Affiliate Program Terms of Use applies to individuals who refer customers to use products or services from Breakwater Supply. We may refer to Affiliates as Ambassadors as well.
By participating as an Affiliate/Ambassador, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree in their entirety, you are not authorized to register or participate in our Affiliate Program.
- Acceptance into the Affiliate Program
We reserve the right to approve or reject any Affiliate Registration, without obligation to disclose reasons for our decision.
- Affiliate Click Attribution
We use a “last link followed” method of tracking referrals. This means if a user clicked on several affiliate links, the last link that was clicked is the link that is credited for the purchase.
- Commissions
We reserve the right to change commission percentages at any time without notice. They may be different based on different categories or products. For an Affiliate to receive a commission, a payment email must be provided. Payouts occur every 30 days to account for customers who may return products during the return window. Payouts will be minus any refunded orders or charge-backs.
- Marketing
Affiliates are eligible to use any Breakwater Supply asset found on breakwatersupply.com. Affiliates are required to craft messaging that displays Breakwater Supply and their products in a positive way, and determining whether the messaging is reasonably positive is decided by Breakwater Supply.You agree not to disparage competitors, and we are not liable for your actions if you do so. If your messaging is not fit, you agree to cease and remove all Affiliate marketing at our request.
- Cookie
We use a cookie to track people who have clicked on your link, so they need to be using cookies for us to track them.The tracking cookie is good for 30 days, meaning a customer can be attributed to an affiliate link referral if they make a purchase on the breakwatersupply.com website within 30 days of the last clicked affiliate link.
- Removal from the Affiliate Program
If an Affiliate wishes to be removed from the Affiliate program, they can do so by contacting contact@breakwatersupply.com or via our Customer Service form.
