This bag is awesome! Did exactly what we needed to do while in the mountains of the Dominican Republic. We literally let the bag float around in the springs while we jumped from spring to spring. It is not 100% waterproof as you can’t sink it underwater and guarantee nothing won’t get a little wet but it will float and keep your stuff dry from the splash and the rain which we were caught in while trekking back down the mountain. It is a really good quality bag. There is another from Breakwater Supply that is closer to 100% waterproof but is far more expensive may look into that one in the future but this bag works.

I bought this dry bag just to keep my items dry while kayaking on the lake, ocean, or hanging out on the beach. Wow, I was pretty surprised at the high quality of this bag. I love it. I placed my items inside rolled it up and carry like a backpack. I’ve left it out in the rain and even threw it in the water just to test it out and it actually floats. Everything stayed dry. I intended to store it inside the stern hatch of my sea kayak, but it’s so damn good that I strapped it right onto the deck to save on storage space. I haven’t fully submerged the bag and held it underwater because I can’t really see anytime that it might be necessary or actually occur. I have purchased other dry bags specifically for kayaking and boating, this one is better than all of them. My new favorite bag. Big enough to travel with and small enough for a carry-on when flying. I really do like this bag. I’m looking for other items from the manufacturer. No issues so far and would certainly recommend this product.
