The backpack is fantastic. Very spacious, particularly in depth. I love the simple layout, and it is very high quality. I very much appreciate the cup holders on the side but wish they were able to hold slightly larger vessels.

This bag is perfect, and I don't say that lightly, I'm super picky and this bag has met all of my expectations: 1. The material is incredibly durable 2. It really is water submersible 3. Super comfortable 4. Spacious but doesn't make me look like I'm an overpacker even though I am it just gives a sleek look. The company is also amazing, you can tell they really car about their product and go to great lengths to make sure the customer is getting what they paid for if not more. I've contacted their customer service before and they responded in 1 day and solved my problems instantly. I began to look for this quality of companies when I shop.

Amazing backpack! Thoroughly used in South East Asia for 3 months. Swam with it, drove and hiked in the rain with it and my drone and electronics stayed bone dry through all of it. This bag is awesome! Did exactly what we needed to do while in the mountains of the Dominican Republic. We literally let the bag float around in the springs while we jumped from spring to spring. It is not 100% waterproof as you can't sink it underwater and guarantee nothing won't get a little wet but it will float and keep your stuff dry from the splash and the rain which we were caught in while trekking back down the mountain. It is a really good quality bag. There is another from Breakwater Supply that is closer to 100% waterproof but is far more expensive may look into that one in the future but this bag works.

The challenge of anyone setting off on a waterborne endeavor is how to both keep things dry and accessible. I purchased this backpack in an attempt to solve that problem for myself and I am glad that I did. The backpack is watertight while maintaining a level of accessibility that is needed when on the water and in confined spaces. Putting this backpack in front of me in my pack raft was the perfect solution for needing to keep my camera and lunch dry, but still needing to be able to get them. Other bags require the old fashioned roll down sleeve and buckle or the US Army wet weather bag’s double cinch approach. This waterproof zipper design is far better than either of those. Additionally, to economize space in the boat (very limited on a packraft) the compression strap helps keep the bag from taking up much-needed room. The phone pouch is, by far, the best feature of the backpack. I cannot tell you how many times I have been on the water and wanted the use of my phone for maps, texts, or other things while being terrified to take it out in fear of dropping it. Waterproof or floating cases help, but it also decreases the usability of the phone. This backpack keeps the phone safe while allowing you to use it. It is even better if you have a pair of Bluetooth earphones that will allow you to make phone calls while the phone is safe in the backpack. If nothing else, this feature alone is worth the purchase of the backpack in my opinion.

GREAT KIT! Has just about everything. I remember buying a survival bracelet years ago for about 15 bucks and there's one actually included in this kit and this one has a small compass and space for some tiny fishing tackle. The one thing it may be missing to be actual survivor worthy is a packable shovel and larger knife. the shovel can be makeshift and the knife I usually carry my own anyway. Other than that this is a really solid kit for price.

We run an all-weather camera delivery in NYC. Seven days or a week rain, shine or blizzard. We immediately knew we were dealing with professional grade gear when we opened the box, these bags are seriously constructed and for our purposes, keep very expensive camera gear bone dry after 10 hours out in the rain. That being said, they did not completely forget about the style end of things , the backpack does not look like a rubber dry-bag and can totally be used as an every day commuter backpack etc. So it’s pretty much consensus amongst those who review these products that they are an extremely high-quality product, recently we had a zipper issue and I got to experience the customer service end of the Breakwater brand philosophy. Super supportive, knowledgeable and ultimately resolved our issue immediately and with full satisfaction. They really went above and beyond making sure we were 110% happy, and as a result of combining top shelf quality products with missionststement of full client satisfaction have created a lifelong customer out of me. This bag will serve a dual purpose 1) travel either airlines or my car 2) to be placed in my basket on my E bike to go to the Lighthouse in the winter. It gets cold and windy at the top of the lighthouse. I dress down for my ride there but, need extra things at the top. So just to see how much I could take if needed I stuffed the bag. The following all fit in.; extra pants, long johns, rain jacket (Columbia fairly heavy), super thick sweatshirt, an additional pull over sweatshirt, knit hat, ear muffs , scarf, wool socks, thin socks, waterproof shoes or rubber covers (try rubber covers, galoshes for older people). Also small bicycle pump and repair tire kit. All in a waterproof bag. That keeps it shape and is very well made. Another plus it fit in my over size Electric Bike Company model R bike basket. Yet it also felt very good with great weight distribution, when I placed it on my back. Perfect as a carry on bag. By having all these options it was easier justifying the price. The old saying is “ you get what you payed for” in this case I got more in quantity, storage and waterproof. I received before the arrival date in excellent condition.' Tried to find fault with the bag. I could not. The bag has some reflective material that works well at night. If needed you can easily add a light to the bottom handle or a reflective belt around the bag.
