This set includes 4 carabiners, each 2 inches long. They are made of a very light and strong plastic and include no springs. Instead, the plastic arm pushes open, and on the tip of the arm is a small groove. When closed, this small groove keeps the carabiner from sliding side to side. They seem very durable. I was able to fully push the arm in such that it touches the other side. It takes considerable effort, so this is not flimsy plastic. Based on my tests of 50 sets of opening and closing, it still seems very durable. This is a great alternative to metal carabiners, especially if you want to avoid clanking. Just got back from a fishing trip wehre we had lots of luck. Brought this backpack with me and found it especially useful for the space it has and the waterproof abilities. Very well built. Plan to use it on similar trips in the future.

A fantastically designed pair of waterproof walking shoes that's well-made and durable.

I love this backpack. I walk to work and needed something waterproof. It fits my umbrella, fold-up rain coat, rain pants, and lunch. The zippers are kinda stiff, but they will probably relax after a while. It's expensive, but definitely worth the price.

Simple, clean, and it protects. Perfect if you don't want to think about getting stuff wet ever again.

This bag is perfect, and I don't say that lightly, I'm super picky and this bag has met all of my expectations: 1. The material is incredibly durable 2. It really is water submersible 3. Super comfortable 4. Spacious but doesn't make me look like I'm an overpacker even though I am it just gives a sleek look. The company is also amazing, you can tell they really car about their product and go to great lengths to make sure the customer is getting what they paid for if not more. I've contacted their customer service before and they responded in 1 day and solved my problems instantly. I began to look for this quality of companies when I shop.

I'm a full-time photographer and am often out in rain, water and on sandy beaches. I wanted an adequately sized waterproof backpack to protect my gear, and the Breakwater 25L backpack seems to hit all the checkmarks. I really like that I can also confidently rinse any sand off the backpack when returning home from the beach. Comfortable to wear and has both interior and exterior zipped and pocketed compartments to store smaller items and laptop/iPad, etc. Others have mentioned struggling to close zippers, and yes, they need a good tug to close. There are grippable loops to help open and close the zippers, so that's been a non-issue for me. Great product at a reasonable price to protect my very expensive photography equipment. I also plan to stash a spare set of dry clothes for my more adventurous outings because everything will fit!

All the way from Holland I am writing my excitement for this bag. I cannot wait to test it in BALI this January. And I mean, really test it. I've got water canyoning, mid quad rides and more planned. I am raving on the fact it's total waterproof and so far all the material seems of great quality. I wanted a bag that could last through everything on my day hikes. So I have cubes for my drone, lumix camera and action cam that devide the internal space. Then there's enough space left for a quick dry towel and everything. I'm a fan!
