Haven't had to test it all out yet, but it's great! And has scissors, not all all first aid kits do! The portable saw looks a little worrisome and wouldn't rely on it for creating stints however.

Writing as a Divemaster, marine ecologist, and full-time PhD student who spends months of the year collecting data in the field. While I've yet to drag this backpack through its paces out on a fieldwork season, I've been pleasantly surprised with how robust it has been as an EDC backpack in adverse winter conditions. It's burly and rugged, and has a functionally minimalist design with plenty of external lash points and additional features. I picked this bag over alternatives such as the Patagonia Guidewater line or the Fishpond Thunderhead primarily because of its built-in laptop sleeve and double airtight pockets (one main compartment and one outside compartment). I don't regret this decision at all, and am pleasantly and plentifully surprised at how well-made and thought-out this product is. My only gripe so far is how small the external water bottle sleeves are—none of my water bottles fit in them, but it's also hard to whine about a feature that none of the other submersible packs on the market even have to begin with, so I digress. The hingeless carabiners are also sleek and functional and don't feel disposable. In short, this bag seems perfect for my demanding use cases, and my only suggestions are 1) bigger/more expandable water bottle sleeves, and 2) a clearer picture of Breakwater Supply's commitment to conservation and sustainability and how their products and materials reflect this focus. This bag will serve a dual purpose 1) travel either airlines or my car 2) to be placed in my basket on my E bike to go to the Lighthouse in the winter. It gets cold and windy at the top of the lighthouse. I dress down for my ride there but, need extra things at the top. So just to see how much I could take if needed I stuffed the bag. The following all fit in.; extra pants, long johns, rain jacket (Columbia fairly heavy), super thick sweatshirt, an additional pull over sweatshirt, knit hat, ear muffs , scarf, wool socks, thin socks, waterproof shoes or rubber covers (try rubber covers, galoshes for older people). Also small bicycle pump and repair tire kit. All in a waterproof bag. That keeps it shape and is very well made. Another plus it fit in my over size Electric Bike Company model R bike basket. Yet it also felt very good with great weight distribution, when I placed it on my back. Perfect as a carry on bag. By having all these options it was easier justifying the price. The old saying is “ you get what you payed for” in this case I got more in quantity, storage and waterproof. I received before the arrival date in excellent condition.' Tried to find fault with the bag. I could not. The bag has some reflective material that works well at night. If needed you can easily add a light to the bottom handle or a reflective belt around the bag.

It is way smaller than the pictures but complete.

I fucking love it, I just wish there was one more exterior pocket towards the top for easy access to things. When your bag is on the ground in front of u (which often it is) it's much more convenient to get something quick out of a top pocket that's on the outside.. I truly believe with that addition it would be the best backpack I ever had.

I love this backpack. I go fishing all the time, including a lot of wading through small rivers and streams with muddy banks, as well as fishing during storms on Great Lakes piers. I couldn't be happier with this bag, it has been beaten up and abused in the mud and rain and has had zero water inside. I use the little flap inside for my scale, fish grippers, and pliers, the main compartment for my tackle and any other larger items, the inside zipper section for a small first aid kit, and the front outside zipper pocket for my phone, wallet, keys, etc. I even used one of the little things on the outside to hang my scissors from, which is SO convenient, as I need my scissors constantly. I also love the side pockets, for keeping a can of bug spray and water bottle in. I can't believe it took me this long to get a nice waterproof bag. I've had this bag about 6 months, and I've fallen in love with it as well as the brand. I will continue to buy from this brand for years to come. Other waterproof bags I looked at were either way more expensive than this one, or just not as cool looking. Love the simple look of this bag with the cool logo on it, as well as the buckle on the front. Can't say enough good things about it. 1,000/10

Absolutely love this thing!!! High-quality and from the moment received have been impressed. One thing to note, it is packed!! so I took out a few things to roll the bag down properly. If you've ever used a dry bag before you know you need to roll them a lot so they stay fully dry.

By far the best waterproof bag I’ve ever used. It’s been on several scuba dive trips, boat rides, and even swimming with me on a excursion that had a water portion involved. Zero leaks, and it looks brand new after over a year, and multiple uses! Forget the price, you will have this bag for a long time. Totally worth it!

Excellent product and build. I looked forward to doing my walks more consistently, even in the rain. Unfortunately, the US 12 (largest) is too tight for me. I am not sure if I can 'break it in' somehow. So, if you're a large 12 or 13, like me, you're out of luck. Still, an excellent product.

I bought the Fogland 25L backpack for a St Thomas USVI trip where we had a boat outing where we had to swim into different bars/restaurants. Worked great, kept everything inside dry. I used it once with very little equipment inside and a lot of air and swam quite far with it but it blew a seam…I think too much air in the bag/too much pressure on the seams and the top seam blew. Got a hold of customer service, explained what happened and within 12 hours a new bag was being sent my way. One year warranty with exceptional service, would recommend to anyone. My thoughts are most dry bags make you roll down the top of the bag to get all of the excess air out of the bag so not to build up internal pressure so you don’t blow out a seam on the bag. Overall a fantastic product made in the US just let the excess air out before getting in the water with the bag.

This backpack exceeded my expectations at all levels! This backpack is 100% waterproof guaranteed! I was walking in a heavy down pour for several hours and all my personal belongings inside the backpack were dry. It is very comfortable to use this backpack while walking for several hours even carrying heavy size items due to the padded back support. I recently travelled with this backpack and it was really convenient because the backpack perfectly fitted below the sit inside the airplane and also it fitted perfectly on top of my 20” carry on luggage (it stands up-right on its own). I love all of the small details of the backpack, such as the carabiner loops (I used them to hang misc small items), waterproof phone pocket (I can use while being outside in a downpour or water-related sport or activities), and the mesh water pocket (I use my Miir 25.3 oz water bottle and it fits perfectly) Also, inside of the backpack it has a laptop sleeve (fits my 14” laptop perfectly) which is convenient when working remotely or working on the go). Moreover, it has two small pocket organizers that is useful for small size items like carabiner loops, portable chargers, etc. Also, it has a medium sized-zipper inside which you can use to store additional items. If you’re looking for a 100% waterproof, strong material, versatile use (commute, hiking, traveling and water-related activities or sports), then this is the ideal backpack for you. P.S. The only small quirk with the backpack is that due to the welded and waterproof zippers, it is kind of a struggle to open and close the zipper. However, there’s a simple solution. You can either use a lip balm or a silicone lubricant and the backpack will open and close very smoothly. Enjoy this Amazing backpack! :)

It’s fabulous. Period. To the person who wrote that the zippers are hard to pull, you just don’t know how to use a waterproof zipper. There are little tabs on both ends of the zipper. You hold the tab nearest the zipper in one hand and pull with the other hand. All truly waterproof zippers are like that.

Been using it every day and it holds up.

The backpack is great. It is light enough for comfortable use, yet will protect my cameras and spare clothing during a downpour.

I love having this first aid kit for stashing in my kayak. The case is very nice and even has the sealing zippers to make this water resistant. Pretty much has everything I'll need. The bandage sheers and tweezers aren't high quality tools, but it's what you'd expect for a friendly price for this kit.
