A great bag. I constantly feel safe when I’m on vacation. The bag is tough and beautiful. An added advantage that nobody mentions except for being waterproof, is that I don’t have to take care all the time when I’m abroad for pickpockets because the bag is rigid. This backpack is amazing at doing it's job. The waterproofing works flawlessly! Even though the plastic makes it hard to use at first, it eventually loosens up with use. For anyone wondering, the built in laptop holder is perfect for 14" laptops. Otherwise, I wouldn't try putting anything bigger than that.

Just what I was looking for. So many things are included! Great value. Perfect for boat, but can be used for home or car or short trip. Will probably pick up a couple for gifts as well.

i stuffed it with containers of ice water that really put it to work testing the strength integrity and workmanship of all attachments and straps sewed and heat sealed together i found my BackPack out of all the manufacturers i carefully methodically located and purchased Break Water after reading other people’s review on and off their website on youtube videos and once home in my possession found it rugged strong robust brutal and likely to last years through the harshes environments and treatments i know i can count on Break Water additionally i purchased the first aid package i saw seemed fully capable of supplying the right people with handy supplies in the event first aid supplies is needed during my journeys Break Water yes expensive but today everything is getting more and more expensive luckily here you getting your money’s worth oh by the way i shopped this back pack because my last one which last some time but it blew out around the zipper and left a hole i don’t ever anticipate that and hope Break Water would stand behind its products in any event. thank you

This is a pretty great bag if you spend a lot of time on or near the water. It’s got a tough, thick, waterproof material with heat-sealed seams and a really tight zipper, so you don't have to worry about your stuff getting wet or sandy. It’s big enough for towels, sunscreen, and snacks, but not so big that it gets too heavy to carry. It even floats, as long as it's not totally stuffed. A couple of other handy features are the included zipper grease to keep it working smoothly, and the shoulder strap for easier carrying. The bottom also has some structure, so it stands up on its own on the sand, which is a nice touch. You also get a symmetrical layout of interior pockets to keep your things organized. Basically, if you want a reliable bag that keeps your stuff dry at the beach or on a boat, this one is a solid choice. Not bad for the price.

I have been looking for an all black, high quality waterproof backpack that I can use for kayaking, the Narrows and carrying my camera equipment. This bag does all of that and still looks amazing! The amount of space is just right and the zippers are strong! I wish I had found this bag sooner.

Writing as a Divemaster, marine ecologist, and full-time PhD student who spends months of the year collecting data in the field. While I've yet to drag this backpack through its paces out on a fieldwork season, I've been pleasantly surprised with how robust it has been as an EDC backpack in adverse winter conditions. It's burly and rugged, and has a functionally minimalist design with plenty of external lash points and additional features. I picked this bag over alternatives such as the Patagonia Guidewater line or the Fishpond Thunderhead primarily because of its built-in laptop sleeve and double airtight pockets (one main compartment and one outside compartment). I don't regret this decision at all, and am pleasantly and plentifully surprised at how well-made and thought-out this product is. My only gripe so far is how small the external water bottle sleeves are—none of my water bottles fit in them, but it's also hard to whine about a feature that none of the other submersible packs on the market even have to begin with, so I digress. The hingeless carabiners are also sleek and functional and don't feel disposable. In short, this bag seems perfect for my demanding use cases, and my only suggestions are 1) bigger/more expandable water bottle sleeves, and 2) a clearer picture of Breakwater Supply's commitment to conservation and sustainability and how their products and materials reflect this focus. I love this backpack. I walk to work and needed something waterproof. It fits my umbrella, fold-up rain coat, rain pants, and lunch. The zippers are kinda stiff, but they will probably relax after a while. It's expensive, but definitely worth the price.

Insane bag! ALL the features are there. I am using it for outdoor activities and also school/work. You wont find another bag designed like this or with these specs anywhere else- and I've done my fair share of research. Customer service is amazing and this is a company you want to "root" for and support !

The first thing I noticed and liked about this kit is how it feels and also the lightweight. It has a nice rubbery texture that seems to be waterproof and also wont slip in hand. The contents are basic for a first aid kit and everything you'll need to take care of minor events. It ash waterproof bandages, ice pack, rolls of first aid tape, scissors, tweezers, and numerous ointments and cleaning wipes. Basically everything I would put together if I was to get the supplies myself. Having such a nice case is well worth it because i've purchased other kits where I've almost been embarrassed by the quality of the cases. This one will last, and it's high-quality. It's reflective too which is very unique in case it's stored in a car and you're pulled over on the side of a highway with other cars coming past.

I use this tote for everything! It's been essential all summer. Keeps everything dry and I love the exterior pockets for wet clothes or my water bottles. It's so hard to find a waterproof tote and this one is beautiful and comfortable.

This bag will serve a dual purpose 1) travel either airlines or my car 2) to be placed in my basket on my E bike to go to the Lighthouse in the winter. It gets cold and windy at the top of the lighthouse. I dress down for my ride there but, need extra things at the top. So just to see how much I could take if needed I stuffed the bag. The following all fit in.; extra pants, long johns, rain jacket (Columbia fairly heavy), super thick sweatshirt, an additional pull over sweatshirt, knit hat, ear muffs , scarf, wool socks, thin socks, waterproof shoes or rubber covers (try rubber covers, galoshes for older people). Also small bicycle pump and repair tire kit. All in a waterproof bag. That keeps it shape and is very well made. Another plus it fit in my over size Electric Bike Company model R bike basket. Yet it also felt very good with great weight distribution, when I placed it on my back. Perfect as a carry on bag. By having all these options it was easier justifying the price. The old saying is “ you get what you payed for” in this case I got more in quantity, storage and waterproof. I received before the arrival date in excellent condition.' Tried to find fault with the bag. I could not. The bag has some reflective material that works well at night. If needed you can easily add a light to the bottom handle or a reflective belt around the bag.

Shipping was fast, received 3 days after ordering. Must say this is some cool outdoor gear! New hiking companion.
