A great bag. I constantly feel safe when I’m on vacation. The bag is tough and beautiful. An added advantage that nobody mentions except for being waterproof, is that I don’t have to take care all the time when I’m abroad for pickpockets because the bag is rigid. People don’t even think about it. BUY THIS BAG

That’s a wonderful bag that I decided to keep to go to work as I walk to work and currently live in Scotland. I also did day hiking in mountainous terrain and it was fine (of course it was not heavily charged). It can host a lot of stuff (sometimes too much!), contrary to most backpacks of the same volume, thanks to its format. It is also crafted with care, so should last for a while.

Works as described. Good quality and finish.

I'm on or near the water everyday. I like to surf fish, kayak & boat and the need for waterproof gear is an absolute must for me. To be able to carry a first aid kit of this caliber inside a waterproof backpack where I can stow a lot of other gear makes my life around water very enjoyable and i don't have to stress about getting my gear wet.

These punch above their weight class. I wouldn't use them for any load-bearing applications, but infinitely useful for small accessory attachment. Based on that use case, durability would not be a concern.

Being included in early look tests with pre-release version of this bag. you are going to flip.out…If you carry critical gear to wet environments this will be your last bag.

We run an all-weather camera delivery in NYC. Seven days or a week rain, shine or blizzard. We immediately knew we were dealing with professional grade gear when we opened the box, these bags are seriously constructed and for our purposes, keep very expensive camera gear bone dry after 10 hours out in the rain. That being said, they did not completely forget about the style end of things , the backpack does not look like a rubber dry-bag and can totally be used as an every day commuter backpack etc. So it’s pretty much consensus amongst those who review these products that they are an extremely high-quality product, recently we had a zipper issue and I got to experience the customer service end of the Breakwater brand philosophy. Super supportive, knowledgeable and ultimately resolved our issue immediately and with full satisfaction. They really went above and beyond making sure we were 110% happy, and as a result of combining top shelf quality products with missionststement of full client satisfaction have created a lifelong customer out of me. I bought the Fogland 25L backpack for a St Thomas USVI trip where we had a boat outing where we had to swim into different bars/restaurants. Worked great, kept everything inside dry. I used it once with very little equipment inside and a lot of air and swam quite far with it but it blew a seam…I think too much air in the bag/too much pressure on the seams and the top seam blew. Got a hold of customer service, explained what happened and within 12 hours a new bag was being sent my way. One year warranty with exceptional service, would recommend to anyone. My thoughts are most dry bags make you roll down the top of the bag to get all of the excess air out of the bag so not to build up internal pressure so you don’t blow out a seam on the bag. Overall a fantastic product made in the US just let the excess air out before getting in the water with the bag.

The backpack is great. It is light enough for comfortable use, yet will protect my cameras and spare clothing during a downpour.

Really great bag! The white is more off white grey tone but it still looks clean. Straps are comfortable and the chest clip is a nice option. The pockets inside are a big plus and the overall space inside is more than I expected. I have not gotten it wet but the zippers seem heavy duty so I’m sure the seal is perfect. Thinking about getting one the black one for my boyfriend- it’s perfect for our water based jobs.
