A company always stands out by the way they treat you with repeat purchases or post purchase issues. This company among many, shines. Not many in this realm shine this bright though. They're clothing line is plentiful and their emergency kits are thoroughly thought out and designed to take care of you even in the field. They're extensive and have everything you'd need on a bad day, even the unexpected items. They're prices are honestly extremely reasonable as well. Trust this company for your survival needs! Not alot of kits come as waterproof systems.

Makes waterproof zippers work easier

These plastic clips are very durable even though they are plastic. The are very strong and I use one of them to attach my mailbox key to my car keyring so I can disconnect it to get my mail. The clips maintain their shape and securely hold the key. They aren't quite 2" in length. Since it's not made of metal its lighter and does not clang around.

The Breakwater Supply Fogland CORDURA Waterproof Backpack is an excellent pack for outdoor enthusiasts. The CORDURA fabric is top notch. I’ve been fly fishing in Mongolia and scuba diving in Mexico with my pack and definitely kept everything dry. Next trips are diving in YAP and fishing in Patagonia. Perfect size for travel and hiking.

The straps are large strong and really high quality. I had lost one of mine that came with my River backpack, but upon my request these were made available through the website. I'm so grateful that this company is so accommodating.

After having really bad experiences with supposedly waterproof dry bags and backpacks, I decided I need to do more research and be prepared to spend a little extra in order to get quality gear. When it comes to sensitive items that just can't get wet such as electronics, towels or layers of clothes designed to keep me warm, I don't want to take any chances. I found the gear I was looking for from Breakwater Supply. The River UTE backpack is exactly what I needed and more. It is completely waterproof and submersible. The lashing points are extremely handy for attaching the backpack onto my paddle board or kayak and they are also useful for attaching webbing that allows me to store wet gear such as water shoes or a wet towel on the outside as pictured. The pockets on the sides fit my tall smart water bottles perfectly and the velcro straps on the top sides fit around the cap of the bottle as if that's exactly what they were designed to do. There is a smaller waterproof zippered pocket for my wallet and keys. There is a much more heavy duty waterproof zipper for the main compartment. It stores my Nesso beach tent with the back lash straps holding the poles as pictured. With all that there's still loads of room inside the 20 l Main compartment for a towel, food and also an air inflator if I choose. My buddy likes to use the same backpack to store a miniature fishing pole and fishing gear. There are three additional compartments inside the main compartment of the backpack, but I may not need those until I want to hike with it in areas where I have to walk through water. From hiking and urban exploration to kayaking and paddle boarding, I am a big fan of functional multi-purpose gear and this backpack delivers in aces!

Well I'm not about to take it under Niagara Falls but I did purchase it for an upcoming cruise trip. Already signed up for multiple excursions one of them being to waterfalls in Jamaica. Holds plenty of stuff. The one gripe i have is that I wanted a brighter color but the black is still nice.

Just got back from a fishing trip wehre we had lots of luck. Brought this backpack with me and found it especially useful for the space it has and the waterproof abilities. Very well built. Plan to use it on similar trips in the future.

This backpack is heavy duty! I work as a camp counselor at an outdoor camp and have used it in various weather conditions (rain/shine) and at different nature spots (lakes, waterfalls, rivers, trails, etc). I haven't tested its waterproof claim yet (been meaning to do so in my bathtub), but I have worn it while it rained, and the stuff in my backpack was absolutely dry! The zippers are hard to move, but that's because they are supposed to prevent water from seeping through. I do like how there is a pocket you can slip your phone into that you can see on the outside, and the material covering your phone is thin enough so that you can still touch your phone screen! I prefer this backpack to the other ones that have the openings at the top that you have to roll down - it's so much easier just being able to unzip the backpack and grab what I need! I think the only thing that tripped me up at first was the price point, but, other than that...I would highly recommend this backpack! That’s a wonderful bag that I decided to keep to go to work as I walk to work and currently live in Scotland. I also did day hiking in mountainous terrain and it was fine (of course it was not heavily charged). It can host a lot of stuff (sometimes too much!), contrary to most backpacks of the same volume, thanks to its format. It is also crafted with care, so should last for a while.

These are definitely a must-have in marine environments, cold weather and in situations where clicking and rattling are a liability. These are polymer, so they don't scratch up finishes on metal and they DON'T GET JAMMED UP OR FROZEN IN SUB-FREEZING TEMPS. Non-magnetic, corrosion proof, no coating to rub off and are reasonably easy to open with gloves on. My only concern is gradual weakening from UV, but only time can tell if that is something to be concerned about.

Awesome packs. Took packs straight to Alaska bushwhacking, fly fishing, kayaking and boating. The packs took it all is stride. Completely durable & waterproof!
