This set includes 4 carabiners, each 2 inches long. They are made of a very light and strong plastic and include no springs. Instead, the plastic arm pushes open, and on the tip of the arm is a small groove. When closed, this small groove keeps the carabiner from sliding side to side. They seem very durable. I was able to fully push the arm in such that it touches the other side. It takes considerable effort, so this is not flimsy plastic. Based on my tests of 50 sets of opening and closing, it still seems very durable. This is a great alternative to metal carabiners, especially if you want to avoid clanking. I bought this specifically to take canyoneering in waterfalls. I was skeptical at first, but it completely protected my items (camera, drone, etc) and was comfortable to wear jumping off 10-15 meter cliffs. Their customer service is top notch. I would buy another and recommend to anyone.

I’ve had this bag for years. Hiked through jungles, swam through waterfalls, and hiked through the rain forest. My bag still looks new. The only caution is electronics or item susceptible to heat, the nature of waterproofing a bag means contents will get very warm in the sun in extended use. All in all couldn’t ask for more

Very smart kit. High quality product.

I have been looking for an all black, high quality waterproof backpack that I can use for kayaking, the Narrows and carrying my camera equipment. This bag does all of that and still looks amazing! The amount of space is just right and the zippers are strong! I wish I had found this bag sooner.

This survival first aid kit itself is high quality and made in the same fashion as the dry bags that you would purchase for kayaking or canoeing. The size is ideal since it is big enough to have a robust amount of items that would be needed during a crisis situation, but small enough that it will fit under the seat in my Tacoma. However, it would also do well strapped to the outside of a ruck or in some easily accessible place in a boat or kayak. It is made of tough material so I do not anticipate snags being a serious issue, provided it is not subjected to excessive wear. After years in the military, the content reminds me of the things we had in our “combat life saver” bags. All of the needed things to perform self aid or buddy aid are present provided one has the appropriate level of training and familiarity with the items. This survival first aid kit seems to be designed for the more typical outdoors injuries of small cuts, burns, and abrasions. It does not come with things that are more suited to higher level trauma and wound care, such as Isreali bandages. Therefore, if you are looking for something outside of the hunting or combat realm, this survival first aid kit will suffice for nearly everyone.

New review: Top notch quality is one thing this brand does, but doing it repeatedly is what sets this brand apart. I would trust this brand with the safety of high value equipment transportation. Earlier I left a review at one, stating that it never arrived in the mail. This was due to me not physically being at that address and having to have someone look for me. Turned out it was delivered.

Good little kit. Light sticks are a nice to have when off shore, and having a small multitool is good too. Emergency things like poncho and blanket are must haves and usually not included in basic kits. Everything packs in tight in the dry bag too.

The backpack is fantastic. Very spacious, particularly in depth. I love the simple layout, and it is very high quality. I very much appreciate the cup holders on the side but wish they were able to hold slightly larger vessels.

We run an all-weather camera delivery in NYC. Seven days or a week rain, shine or blizzard. We immediately knew we were dealing with professional grade gear when we opened the box, these bags are seriously constructed and for our purposes, keep very expensive camera gear bone dry after 10 hours out in the rain. That being said, they did not completely forget about the style end of things , the backpack does not look like a rubber dry-bag and can totally be used as an every day commuter backpack etc. So it’s pretty much consensus amongst those who review these products that they are an extremely high-quality product, recently we had a zipper issue and I got to experience the customer service end of the Breakwater brand philosophy. Super supportive, knowledgeable and ultimately resolved our issue immediately and with full satisfaction. They really went above and beyond making sure we were 110% happy, and as a result of combining top shelf quality products with missionststement of full client satisfaction have created a lifelong customer out of me. Very good quality

Feels good knowing that we're prepared for a different boating situations. Having the watreproof bag helps in keeping protected from those big waves!

Have been using dry bags for years. This one is lightweight, made with quality material. Designed well. Reason I say this is because I have had multiple bags fail on me on the sides of the bag where the shoulder straps are anchored. After enough time, the stitching for the straps pulls away from the sides. Because this is anchored to the part that has the thin padding on the back, it's not pulling on the sides of the bag, and will not tear. It was a good design choice and one that I wanted to point out.
