I bought the Fogland 25L backpack for a St Thomas USVI trip where we had a boat outing where we had to swim into different bars/restaurants. Worked great, kept everything inside dry. I used it once with very little equipment inside and a lot of air and swam quite far with it but it blew a seam…I think too much air in the bag/too much pressure on the seams and the top seam blew. Got a hold of customer service, explained what happened and within 12 hours a new bag was being sent my way. One year warranty with exceptional service, would recommend to anyone. My thoughts are most dry bags make you roll down the top of the bag to get all of the excess air out of the bag so not to build up internal pressure so you don’t blow out a seam on the bag. Overall a fantastic product made in the US just let the excess air out before getting in the water with the bag.

It is just about the right size for bike commuting.

I love the bag! Tried out the water proof right when I got home! Good storage and works like a charm! Definitely will buy the 15L when it’s available!

Finally - a practical first aid kit for people that enjoy camping, hiking and other outdoor sports. It's compact but has the products you will likely need - as opposed to being full of fluff that you won't. A great gift for anyone that loves the outdoors.

New review: Top notch quality is one thing this brand does, but doing it repeatedly is what sets this brand apart. I would trust this brand with the safety of high value equipment transportation. Earlier I left a review at one, stating that it never arrived in the mail. This was due to me not physically being at that address and having to have someone look for me. Turned out it was delivered.

I purchased this bag for a trip to Maui's rain forest. I knew we would be in and out of the water and that it would be raining some of the trip. This bag did not disappoint! Not one drop of water got in the bag. I put everything from my phone, camera, extra clothes and food in there. The 25L left lots of room to carry others items. I was a little worried the light color would look nasty after a day in the mud, but it cleaned up well. The bag actually floated upright which was nice when I was in deeper water. Would definitely buy again.

The backpack is fantastic. Very spacious, particularly in depth. I love the simple layout, and it is very high quality. I very much appreciate the cup holders on the side but wish they were able to hold slightly larger vessels.

This backpack is heavy duty! I work as a camp counselor at an outdoor camp and have used it in various weather conditions (rain/shine) and at different nature spots (lakes, waterfalls, rivers, trails, etc). I haven't tested its waterproof claim yet (been meaning to do so in my bathtub), but I have worn it while it rained, and the stuff in my backpack was absolutely dry! The zippers are hard to move, but that's because they are supposed to prevent water from seeping through. I do like how there is a pocket you can slip your phone into that you can see on the outside, and the material covering your phone is thin enough so that you can still touch your phone screen! I prefer this backpack to the other ones that have the openings at the top that you have to roll down - it's so much easier just being able to unzip the backpack and grab what I need! I think the only thing that tripped me up at first was the price point, but, other than that...I would highly recommend this backpack! I've always used aluminum or titanium carabiners for my EDC and because I use them for a lot of other purposes. What I really like about them: 1. You never have to worry about the hinge mechanism getting slightly bent and getting out of whack. 2. High level of resistance so I feel more secure with these than other non-locking carabiners. 2. Completely waterproof and will never rust or corrode. 3. SUPER lightweight- even more than my titanium carabiners. Possible downsides: 1. I can see that those with limited hand strength (i.e. small kids, disabled, etc.) might have a difficult time with these because it's not as easy to hold open with a simple hinge. This one fights back. Overall, I absolutely recommend.

I've depended on a lot of water resistent and waterproof backpacks for about a year and I could tell this is the real deal. There are two requirements to be waterproof: 1. the material 2. sealing any openings (zippers or roll tops). While roll tops are waterproof, it doesn't mean the openings are completely waterproof under pressure. Also, most roll top bags are built like sacks which serve a purpose but don't make good day packs. However, this bag uses drysuit zippers. But it also has several unique features I haven't seen on a zippable pack like this: 1. two mesh water bottle hoders (while a bit small, they do stretch; see picture), a laptop divider (no padding but should still hold up) 3. Most importantly, the same waterproof zippers on the front stash pocket. I got mine in Cordura which was a 10 dollar difference but is a top notch rip resistent perofrmance fabric. Overall, I do recommend this bag but I do wish it shipped flat (can see the crease in the middle but should be fine once used) and maybe a 30L/28L version with hip straps?
