Bought this bag as a comparison to a few others on the market, but this was better priced and had more features. I love the bag! Most importantly the pocket for the phone is what makes it the perfect bag when on the water.

So far so good with this amazing backpack! I am conservationist, content creator/photographer that needs to be able to keep my camera, lens, drone and equipment dry. I spend 80% of my days around water and the other 20% lost in the woods. This backpack does both. I appreciate the heavy duty zippers. It hasn’t take a dip yet but I did submerge it before use to confirm it was submersible. I know when it does go in I will appreciate that it floats. There is an exterior front pocket and interior pockets for organization. The straps are comfortable for hiking. I carried a drone, two 40oz water bottles, two lens and some additional equipment on a 6 mile hike/slog. It like most back packs did get a little hot while carrying it but I’m in Florida and it was 80 degree January day. It is easy to wipe down after use and and keep clean. I didn’t know it when I purchased it but it’s definitely my new day to day adventure bag!

I bought this dry bag just to keep my items dry while kayaking on the lake, ocean, or hanging out on the beach. Wow, I was pretty surprised at the high quality of this bag. I love it. I placed my items inside rolled it up and carry like a backpack. I've left it out in the rain and even threw it in the water just to test it out and it actually floats. Everything stayed dry. I intended to store it inside the stern hatch of my sea kayak, but it's so damn good that I strapped it right onto the deck to save on storage space. I haven't fully submerged the bag and held it underwater because I can't really see anytime that it might be necessary or actually occur. I have purchased other dry bags specifically for kayaking and boating, this one is better than all of them. My new favorite bag. Big enough to travel with and small enough for a carry-on when flying. I really do like this bag. I'm looking for other items from the manufacturer. No issues so far and would certainly recommend this product.

The straps are large strong and really high quality. I had lost one of mine that came with my River backpack, but upon my request these were made available through the website. I'm so grateful that this company is so accommodating.

Awesome packs. Took packs straight to Alaska bushwhacking, fly fishing, kayaking and boating. The packs took it all is stride. Completely durable & waterproof!

These bags are truly waterproof! We have put them to the test during a rainy track season in the Midwest, and while visiting Niagara Falls--everything inside the bag has stayed dry in wet conditions. I would recommend these bags to anyone. The size options are great, and totally worth the price.

Rugged and durable! This is my second Breakwater Supply backpack and their designs continue to improve. This is my go-to sailing/kayaking backpack as I trust the waterproofing more than my other bags.

Writing as a Divemaster, marine ecologist, and full-time PhD student who spends months of the year collecting data in the field. While I've yet to drag this backpack through its paces out on a fieldwork season, I've been pleasantly surprised with how robust it has been as an EDC backpack in adverse winter conditions. It's burly and rugged, and has a functionally minimalist design with plenty of external lash points and additional features. I picked this bag over alternatives such as the Patagonia Guidewater line or the Fishpond Thunderhead primarily because of its built-in laptop sleeve and double airtight pockets (one main compartment and one outside compartment). I don't regret this decision at all, and am pleasantly and plentifully surprised at how well-made and thought-out this product is. My only gripe so far is how small the external water bottle sleeves are—none of my water bottles fit in them, but it's also hard to whine about a feature that none of the other submersible packs on the market even have to begin with, so I digress. The hingeless carabiners are also sleek and functional and don't feel disposable. In short, this bag seems perfect for my demanding use cases, and my only suggestions are 1) bigger/more expandable water bottle sleeves, and 2) a clearer picture of Breakwater Supply's commitment to conservation and sustainability and how their products and materials reflect this focus. Amazing backpack! Thoroughly used in South East Asia for 3 months. Swam with it, drove and hiked in the rain with it and my drone and electronics stayed bone dry through all of it. Also, INCREDIBLE customer service that went above and beyond. All around a 10/10 company and experience. Thanks again guys, keep crushing it!

You know, how I found out about this bag is quite an accident. Was not promoted by anyone or seen it in the real world. I just see their videos of the backpack submerged in water and I was sold. Yesterday, I was in a grocery store, put my my backpack on the table. This group of seniors spilled water all over the table including my backpack and I am astonished to find my belongings are still dry inside. Works like magic!

A great bag. I constantly feel safe when I’m on vacation. The bag is tough and beautiful. An added advantage that nobody mentions except for being waterproof, is that I don’t have to take care all the time when I’m abroad for pickpockets because the bag is rigid. People don’t even think about it. BUY THIS BAG
