I love this backpack. I go fishing all the time, including a lot of wading through small rivers and streams with muddy banks, as well as fishing during storms on Great Lakes piers. I couldn't be happier with this bag, it has been beaten up and abused in the mud and rain and has had zero water inside. I use the little flap inside for my scale, fish grippers, and pliers, the main compartment for my tackle and any other larger items, the inside zipper section for a small first aid kit, and the front outside zipper pocket for my phone, wallet, keys, etc. I even used one of the little things on the outside to hang my scissors from, which is SO convenient, as I need my scissors constantly. I also love the side pockets, for keeping a can of bug spray and water bottle in. I can't believe it took me this long to get a nice waterproof bag. I've had this bag about 6 months, and I've fallen in love with it as well as the brand. I will continue to buy from this brand for years to come. Other waterproof bags I looked at were either way more expensive than this one, or just not as cool looking. Love the simple look of this bag with the cool logo on it, as well as the buckle on the front. Can't say enough good things about it. 1,000/10

Great quality, perfect size. Yes, zippers can take a little bit of effort to pull but there are loops to hold that helps. After all it is waterproof! Exactly what I needed for a trip to Alaska - in a temperature rain forest. Thank you!

Writing as a Divemaster, marine ecologist, and full-time PhD student who spends months of the year collecting data in the field. While I've yet to drag this backpack through its paces out on a fieldwork season, I've been pleasantly surprised with how robust it has been as an EDC backpack in adverse winter conditions. It's burly and rugged, and has a functionally minimalist design with plenty of external lash points and additional features. I picked this bag over alternatives such as the Patagonia Guidewater line or the Fishpond Thunderhead primarily because of its built-in laptop sleeve and double airtight pockets (one main compartment and one outside compartment). I don't regret this decision at all, and am pleasantly and plentifully surprised at how well-made and thought-out this product is. My only gripe so far is how small the external water bottle sleeves are—none of my water bottles fit in them, but it's also hard to whine about a feature that none of the other submersible packs on the market even have to begin with, so I digress. The hingeless carabiners are also sleek and functional and don't feel disposable. In short, this bag seems perfect for my demanding use cases, and my only suggestions are 1) bigger/more expandable water bottle sleeves, and 2) a clearer picture of Breakwater Supply's commitment to conservation and sustainability and how their products and materials reflect this focus. These are definitely a must-have in marine environments, cold weather and in situations where clicking and rattling are a liability. These are polymer, so they don't scratch up finishes on metal and they DON'T GET JAMMED UP OR FROZEN IN SUB-FREEZING TEMPS. Non-magnetic, corrosion proof, no coating to rub off and are reasonably easy to open with gloves on. My only concern is gradual weakening from UV, but only time can tell if that is something to be concerned about.

I bought this dry bag just to keep my items dry while kayaking on the lake, ocean, or hanging out on the beach. Wow, I was pretty surprised at the high quality of this bag. I love it. I placed my items inside rolled it up and carry like a backpack. I've left it out in the rain and even threw it in the water just to test it out and it actually floats. Everything stayed dry. I intended to store it inside the stern hatch of my sea kayak, but it's so damn good that I strapped it right onto the deck to save on storage space. I haven't fully submerged the bag and held it underwater because I can't really see anytime that it might be necessary or actually occur. I have purchased other dry bags specifically for kayaking and boating, this one is better than all of them. My new favorite bag. Big enough to travel with and small enough for a carry-on when flying. I really do like this bag. I'm looking for other items from the manufacturer. No issues so far and would certainly recommend this product.

A great bag. I constantly feel safe when I’m on vacation. The bag is tough and beautiful. An added advantage that nobody mentions except for being waterproof, is that I don’t have to take care all the time when I’m abroad for pickpockets because the bag is rigid. People don’t even think about it. BUY THIS BAG

I highly recommend this waterproof bag! My family has a total of 4, and have put them to the test during a rainy track season in the Midwest. They also survived the hurricane deck at Cave of the Winds while visiting Niagara Falls--everything inside the bag has stayed dry in extremely wet conditions. I would recommend these bags to anyone. The size options are great, and totally worth the price.

I bought my Fogland 25 L (in green canvas) two years ago. It is a marvellous product, technical and also nice, so much so that last year I used it to carry my laptop and day stuff to go to work in Scotland, used it for my field gear in Southern Mexico, and here in Canada to stuff my gear on kayak trips (it is huge and a lot fits inside). Everyone admires it, in town or outdoors, but even more than for its cool look, I love it for the craftsmanship. So far it looks like new, while most of similar products I have owned -and loved- started to show signs of wear and tear after two years.

You know, how I found out about this bag is quite an accident. Was not promoted by anyone or seen it in the real world. I just see their videos of the backpack submerged in water and I was sold. Yesterday, I was in a grocery store, put my my backpack on the table. This group of seniors spilled water all over the table including my backpack and I am astonished to find my belongings are still dry inside. Works like magic!

Just got back from scuba diving in Yap with my new Cordura Fogland pack. Works great on the boat and doubles as the perfect carry-on for the plane.
