We run an all-weather camera delivery in NYC. Seven days or a week rain, shine or blizzard. We immediately knew we were dealing with professional grade gear when we opened the box, these bags are seriously constructed and for our purposes, keep very expensive camera gear bone dry after 10 hours out in the rain. That being said, they did not completely forget about the style end of things , the backpack does not look like a rubber dry-bag and can totally be used as an every day commuter backpack etc. So it’s pretty much consensus amongst those who review these products that they are an extremely high-quality product, recently we had a zipper issue and I got to experience the customer service end of the Breakwater brand philosophy. Super supportive, knowledgeable and ultimately resolved our issue immediately and with full satisfaction. They really went above and beyond making sure we were 110% happy, and as a result of combining top shelf quality products with missionststement of full client satisfaction have created a lifelong customer out of me. This product is amazing! There are so many items included in the Breakwater Supply survival first aid kit, and some are items that I never would have thought to add if I was creating my own kit from scratch. A highlight for me was the inclusion of the paracord bracelet and wire saw! I also enjoy the fact that the kit is fairly small in size and able to fit in my saddlebags as well as my hiking day pack without taking up a ton of space. I also feel a lot safer having it on me when I am out enjoying the great outdoors! It also comes with a locking carabineer so you can easily attach it to any of your other bags. I’m thinking about purchasing another one to keep in my car! All in all, a great product that you shouldn’t hesitate on buying!

Great quality and size for zodiac excursion.

I’ve had this bag for a little while now. When it arrived I was very impressed with the quality. The back and the straps have neoprene padding and are comfortable to wear. You can use your touchscreen through the clear pocket. The quality of the materials used and the seams were good quality. Since receiving it I have done some testing and it has held up very well. I took it with me on a hike through the snow loaded with extra layers, a first aid kit, and my camera. The bag kept all my gear dry and was very comfortable during the hike. For my second test I stressed the seams to see how well they held up. I overloaded the bag and also pulled at the seams. The seams held up very well and there were no leaks afterward. For the final test I filled up my bathtub and completely submerged the bag. This test revealed small holes in the phone packet due to the way it was packaged for shipping. I reached out to the company and was quickly sent a replacement bag and they fixed the problem with the way it was packaged. The replacement bag had no holes and was waterproof as advertised. All in all it is a good looking high quality bag from a great company. I highly recommend this bag.

Insane bag! ALL the features are there. I am using it for outdoor activities and also school/work. You wont find another bag designed like this or with these specs anywhere else- and I've done my fair share of research. Customer service is amazing and this is a company you want to "root" for and support !

Bought this bag as a comparison to a few others on the market, but this was better priced and had more features. I love the bag! Most importantly the pocket for the phone is what makes it the perfect bag when on the water.

I bought my Fogland 25 L (in green canvas) two years ago. It is a marvellous product, technical and also nice, so much so that last year I used it to carry my laptop and day stuff to go to work in Scotland, used it for my field gear in Southern Mexico, and here in Canada to stuff my gear on kayak trips (it is huge and a lot fits inside). Everyone admires it, in town or outdoors, but even more than for its cool look, I love it for the craftsmanship. So far it looks like new, while most of similar products I have owned -and loved- started to show signs of wear and tear after two years.

I brought this waterproof tote on my Paint & Paddle adventures and to the beach — and let me tell you, it downpoured on one of those days… and this bag was a total hero!!! The waterproofing? Exceptional. My supplies stayed bone dry, and I didn’t have to stress for a second! I’m obsessed with the zippers — they’re sleek, smooth, and make it so easy to grab what I need in the moment. Plus, it’s super lightweight — I can just toss it over my shoulder and head out! This tote is officially my go-to adventure bag!! I highly recommend it — I’m a big, big fan!!!

Purchased lots of trainers that were surpose to be waterproof, none was, wasted money. These shoes are not cheap but they are 100% waterproof.

The challenge of anyone setting off on a waterborne endeavor is how to both keep things dry and accessible. I purchased this backpack in an attempt to solve that problem for myself and I am glad that I did. The backpack is watertight while maintaining a level of accessibility that is needed when on the water and in confined spaces. Putting this backpack in front of me in my pack raft was the perfect solution for needing to keep my camera and lunch dry, but still needing to be able to get them. Other bags require the old fashioned roll down sleeve and buckle or the US Army wet weather bag’s double cinch approach. This waterproof zipper design is far better than either of those. Additionally, to economize space in the boat (very limited on a packraft) the compression strap helps keep the bag from taking up much-needed room. The phone pouch is, by far, the best feature of the backpack. I cannot tell you how many times I have been on the water and wanted the use of my phone for maps, texts, or other things while being terrified to take it out in fear of dropping it. Waterproof or floating cases help, but it also decreases the usability of the phone. This backpack keeps the phone safe while allowing you to use it. It is even better if you have a pair of Bluetooth earphones that will allow you to make phone calls while the phone is safe in the backpack. If nothing else, this feature alone is worth the purchase of the backpack in my opinion.
