Great backpack. Definitely waterproof. In the Philippines i was on a boat for a 5 day island hopping trip and this was my main bag. I brought a drone with me on the boat trip and when we'd anchor off an island Id zip up the back pack with my drone in it and swim to shore. I did this on many islands and never a drop of water got into the bag, Id even kind of swim with it as a flotation device submerging it a bit and no problem. Also nice when thunderstorms would come through areas when I was on motorbikes and would get drenched but didnt even need to worry a bit about my gear getting wet, I'd just throw my phone in the bag and keep going with a smile. As of now I definitely recommend this bag. Want a waterproof backpack? Get one from Breakwater Supply hands down. Much love

Awesome packs. Took packs straight to Alaska bushwhacking, fly fishing, kayaking and boating. The packs took it all is stride. Completely durable & waterproof!

I have the 15L in Goshen Gray - this is one excellent pack! I took it for a week to Costa Rica and used it on the boat for Scuba (where we got soaked) and also hiking in the rain forest, where we were in heavy rain all day. On the boat I had my wallet, phone, dry clothes, etc. and in the rain forest I had my camera in a padded camera cube and other gear. In both cases, my stuff stayed bone dry. But not only that, the pack was very comfortable to hike with, the fabric looks amazing and it has great pockets for a waterproof pack (which are usually very sparse or empty on organization since it's not cheap to weld additional pockets into the pack). The upper inside pocket is really great for keys, etc and the main inside pocket is great to segment your gear so that the pack doesn't become one giant black hold. Also, the pack is super light and really strong and tough, so it packed really well and flat into my main travel bag (unzipped) and then was great when we arrived as a day pack. The top handle is really handy and the sternum strap works really well. Can't recommend this bag highly enough, especially at the price. Thanks for making this one guys, I'll probably be back for more sizes!

We run an all-weather camera delivery in NYC. Seven days or a week rain, shine or blizzard. We immediately knew we were dealing with professional grade gear when we opened the box, these bags are seriously constructed and for our purposes, keep very expensive camera gear bone dry after 10 hours out in the rain. That being said, they did not completely forget about the style end of things , the backpack does not look like a rubber dry-bag and can totally be used as an every day commuter backpack etc. So it’s pretty much consensus amongst those who review these products that they are an extremely high-quality product, recently we had a zipper issue and I got to experience the customer service end of the Breakwater brand philosophy. Super supportive, knowledgeable and ultimately resolved our issue immediately and with full satisfaction. They really went above and beyond making sure we were 110% happy, and as a result of combining top shelf quality products with missionststement of full client satisfaction have created a lifelong customer out of me. I searched high and low for the perfect backpack to carry sensitive camera gear onto boats that often take saltwater splash, and deep puddles where I may need to stick my bag. This is it. It's perfect. I have had the zipper give me trouble a couple times over the years, but customer service is the best I've ever seen. They replace the bag straight way. I wish all companies cared this much. Can't recommend enough!

When it arrived in the mail it was on time with quick delivery. Showing excitement and ready to try out this new bag. Switching from a worn out a waterproof Patagonia 30L , after close to two-years of daily use. It also stored all the personal property allowing everything to stay dry. Lowering any stress one might have when getting caught in the rain or on the boat with water splashing on deck. This is an awesome backpack for organized onshore fisherman who carry all there tackle and want to keep it dry. The primary Breakwater Supply backpack I use goes through ups and downs daily, with an average weight of ten pounds in the bag. Holding everything one might need and use for a business administrative lifestyle. Which in this case is education while in college over the next few years. Here comes the good news, this manufacture stands by there product with professional customer service and has provided a brand new Backpack after mine became damaged. If your looking to try a waterproof bag this company is offering a water tight sealed bag.

This bag is very spacious and holds up well! I love it!

Purchased this backpack since it has been storming recently and needed to protect my electronics. Works perfectly. Initially the front zipper was extremely difficult to get open and thought I would break it if I pulled any harder but it eventually yielded. Wearing the backpack is comfortable but the inside is pretty barebones. Would have liked some softer material on the inside on the bottom for padding but I guess there are manufacturing limitations. Overall should be worth it if it protects my electronics even 1 time.

I think this is a well made, impressive bag.

I added these carabiner hooks to my Osprey Aether 60 pack and my Camelbak daypack for overnight backpacking and day hike trips. So far they work well and have no issues holding my hydroflask 16oz water bottle or Camelbak water bottle. I'll update if they end up snapping or failing while hiking on the trail.

Perfect size for a day trip on a boat in the islands!

I fucking love it, I just wish there was one more exterior pocket towards the top for easy access to things. When your bag is on the ground in front of u (which often it is) it's much more convenient to get something quick out of a top pocket that's on the outside.. I truly believe with that addition it would be the best backpack I ever had.

Just got back from scuba diving in Yap with my new Cordura Fogland pack. Works great on the boat and doubles as the perfect carry-on for the plane.

This bag is perfect, and I don't say that lightly, I'm super picky and this bag has met all of my expectations: 1. The material is incredibly durable 2. It really is water submersible 3. Super comfortable 4. Spacious but doesn't make me look like I'm an overpacker even though I am it just gives a sleek look. The company is also amazing, you can tell they really car about their product and go to great lengths to make sure the customer is getting what they paid for if not more. I've contacted their customer service before and they responded in 1 day and solved my problems instantly. I began to look for this quality of companies when I shop.
