I actually bought this after I purchased their drybag backpack, which I LOVE! I usually use it when riding my bike, but I've taken it camping and to the river several times as well. Holding up great so far! The only issue I have with the first aid kit is that it says waterproof, but I'm not sure how since the zipper looks like a normal zipper. I might test it with all the paper things taken out, so, I'll update after that. Otherwise everything included is great!

This backpack is constructed well and has plenty of room!! The zippers are waterproof and easy to use. Front pocket is perfect for cellphone! Comfortable to wear.

These plastic clips are very durable even though they are plastic. The are very strong and I use one of them to attach my mailbox key to my car keyring so I can disconnect it to get my mail. The clips maintain their shape and securely hold the key. They aren't quite 2" in length. Since it's not made of metal its lighter and does not clang around.

Saltwater fishing all day today and the Halocline shoes performed wonderfully. They have excellent grip in slippery conditions and are extremely waterproof. Also very comfortable to wear!

That’s a wonderful bag that I decided to keep to go to work as I walk to work and currently live in Scotland. I also did day hiking in mountainous terrain and it was fine (of course it was not heavily charged). It can host a lot of stuff (sometimes too much!), contrary to most backpacks of the same volume, thanks to its format. It is also crafted with care, so should last for a while.

Haven’t had the opportunity to test this backpack in any heavy rain yet, but the design is sleek and well built. The shoulder straps can be a little uncomfortable depending on the weight of what’s inside the bag and I hope the back-pad drys quickly because it looks a little spongey. Overall looks and feels like a sturdy bag for the price

Just received but great feeling product

After having really bad experiences with supposedly waterproof dry bags and backpacks, I decided I need to do more research and be prepared to spend a little extra in order to get quality gear. When it comes to sensitive items that just can't get wet such as electronics, towels or layers of clothes designed to keep me warm, I don't want to take any chances. I found the gear I was looking for from Breakwater Supply. The River UTE backpack is exactly what I needed and more. It is completely waterproof and submersible. The lashing points are extremely handy for attaching the backpack onto my paddle board or kayak and they are also useful for attaching webbing that allows me to store wet gear such as water shoes or a wet towel on the outside as pictured. The pockets on the sides fit my tall smart water bottles perfectly and the velcro straps on the top sides fit around the cap of the bottle as if that's exactly what they were designed to do. There is a smaller waterproof zippered pocket for my wallet and keys. There is a much more heavy duty waterproof zipper for the main compartment. It stores my Nesso beach tent with the back lash straps holding the poles as pictured. With all that there's still loads of room inside the 20 l Main compartment for a towel, food and also an air inflator if I choose. My buddy likes to use the same backpack to store a miniature fishing pole and fishing gear. There are three additional compartments inside the main compartment of the backpack, but I may not need those until I want to hike with it in areas where I have to walk through water. From hiking and urban exploration to kayaking and paddle boarding, I am a big fan of functional multi-purpose gear and this backpack delivers in aces!

This backpack is heavy duty! I work as a camp counselor at an outdoor camp and have used it in various weather conditions (rain/shine) and at different nature spots (lakes, waterfalls, rivers, trails, etc). I haven't tested its waterproof claim yet (been meaning to do so in my bathtub), but I have worn it while it rained, and the stuff in my backpack was absolutely dry! The zippers are hard to move, but that's because they are supposed to prevent water from seeping through. I do like how there is a pocket you can slip your phone into that you can see on the outside, and the material covering your phone is thin enough so that you can still touch your phone screen! I prefer this backpack to the other ones that have the openings at the top that you have to roll down - it's so much easier just being able to unzip the backpack and grab what I need! I think the only thing that tripped me up at first was the price point, but, other than that...I would highly recommend this backpack! The backpack is great. It is light enough for comfortable use, yet will protect my cameras and spare clothing during a downpour.

I bought the Fogland 25L backpack for a St Thomas USVI trip where we had a boat outing where we had to swim into different bars/restaurants. Worked great, kept everything inside dry. I used it once with very little equipment inside and a lot of air and swam quite far with it but it blew a seam…I think too much air in the bag/too much pressure on the seams and the top seam blew. Got a hold of customer service, explained what happened and within 12 hours a new bag was being sent my way. One year warranty with exceptional service, would recommend to anyone. My thoughts are most dry bags make you roll down the top of the bag to get all of the excess air out of the bag so not to build up internal pressure so you don’t blow out a seam on the bag. Overall a fantastic product made in the US just let the excess air out before getting in the water with the bag.

So I just got back from Mexico for 30 days fly fishing in the surf; highly recommend the product. Enjoyed how it complimented my system of moving my gear around. I would say that customer service is over the top. And, I received a multiple unsolicited compliments.
