Writing as a Divemaster, marine ecologist, and full-time PhD student who spends months of the year collecting data in the field. While I've yet to drag this backpack through its paces out on a fieldwork season, I've been pleasantly surprised with how robust it has been as an EDC backpack in adverse winter conditions. It's burly and rugged, and has a functionally minimalist design with plenty of external lash points and additional features. I picked this bag over alternatives such as the Patagonia Guidewater line or the Fishpond Thunderhead primarily because of its built-in laptop sleeve and double airtight pockets (one main compartment and one outside compartment). I don't regret this decision at all, and am pleasantly and plentifully surprised at how well-made and thought-out this product is. My only gripe so far is how small the external water bottle sleeves are—none of my water bottles fit in them, but it's also hard to whine about a feature that none of the other submersible packs on the market even have to begin with, so I digress. The hingeless carabiners are also sleek and functional and don't feel disposable. In short, this bag seems perfect for my demanding use cases, and my only suggestions are 1) bigger/more expandable water bottle sleeves, and 2) a clearer picture of Breakwater Supply's commitment to conservation and sustainability and how their products and materials reflect this focus. Love the durability, waterproof bag. Light and comfortable. Trying it out for my Bali holiday.

We took the 20L Fogland Cordura Waterproof backpack with us for a week in Disneyworld. It is roomy and lightweight. It was in the 80's and my husband was completely comfortable with wearing it. The way the back is made prevented it from clinging to him. We were able to carry two stainless steel water bottles, neck fans, cooling towels, rain ponchos and snacks and our outer layers without having to stuff anything in there. We were even complimented on how nice it was after a security guard, who was forced to search it at the gate, questioned us as to whether or not it was waterproof. "Nice! You're going to need it!" This is a great alternative to a soggy backpack! Worth every penny. Great customer service, by the way.

The backpack is great. It is light enough for comfortable use, yet will protect my cameras and spare clothing during a downpour.

Feels good knowing that we're prepared for a different boating situations. Having the watreproof bag helps in keeping protected from those big waves!

I actually bought this after I purchased their drybag backpack, which I LOVE! I usually use it when riding my bike, but I've taken it camping and to the river several times as well. Holding up great so far! The only issue I have with the first aid kit is that it says waterproof, but I'm not sure how since the zipper looks like a normal zipper. I might test it with all the paper things taken out, so, I'll update after that. Otherwise everything included is great!

These are lightweight and low profile. Great for light duty applications. Attaching gear to backpacks and such. I got these for hanging my child’s toys to the ceiling of my garage.

This kit is great to throw in the truck, boat, or backpack. Compact.

Use onboard a kayak for emergencies. Waterproof bag seems of good quality and is a better option over hard plastic which might crack and then leak.

i'll be honest here.. first aid kits usually aren't the first thing I think of when I head out the door. but this really has everything i need. the emergency blanket, dont know that ill ever use it but allways good to have one. fits in my car pretty easy. just a good thing to have.

Great quality, perfect size. Yes, zippers can take a little bit of effort to pull but there are loops to hold that helps. After all it is waterproof! Exactly what I needed for a trip to Alaska - in a temperature rain forest. Thank you!

I purchased this bag for a trip to Maui's rain forest. I knew we would be in and out of the water and that it would be raining some of the trip. This bag did not disappoint! Not one drop of water got in the bag. I put everything from my phone, camera, extra clothes and food in there. The 25L left lots of room to carry others items. I was a little worried the light color would look nasty after a day in the mud, but it cleaned up well. The bag actually floated upright which was nice when I was in deeper water. Would definitely buy again.

Has everything I need for trips in the woods . It's a very good kit for hunting, fishing, outdoors, and snowmobile trips or ATV . The bag is small and flexible. Easy to pack with other things . Supplies are good quality. Bandages are always a must and there's plenty. Survival equipment I am surprised by , in a good way. I spent a lot of time in the outdoors. Good to have that stuff and be prepared. Overall great kit and plan on keeping with me on my trips.
