Tested and submerged in the pool for a few mins and no water went inside the bag.

This survival first aid kit itself is high quality and made in the same fashion as the dry bags that you would purchase for kayaking or canoeing. The size is ideal since it is big enough to have a robust amount of items that would be needed during a crisis situation, but small enough that it will fit under the seat in my Tacoma. However, it would also do well strapped to the outside of a ruck or in some easily accessible place in a boat or kayak. It is made of tough material so I do not anticipate snags being a serious issue, provided it is not subjected to excessive wear. After years in the military, the content reminds me of the things we had in our “combat life saver” bags. All of the needed things to perform self aid or buddy aid are present provided one has the appropriate level of training and familiarity with the items. This survival first aid kit seems to be designed for the more typical outdoors injuries of small cuts, burns, and abrasions. It does not come with things that are more suited to higher level trauma and wound care, such as Isreali bandages. Therefore, if you are looking for something outside of the hunting or combat realm, this survival first aid kit will suffice for nearly everyone.

Bought 2 backpacks for our yearly trip to the Virgin Islands and they arrived the day after I ordered. Impressive! We had many tropical downpours on vacay and the waterproof backpacks saved us so many times on the beach and ferry. Best purchase ever especially with such unpredictable weather!

This backpack is heavy duty! I work as a camp counselor at an outdoor camp and have used it in various weather conditions (rain/shine) and at different nature spots (lakes, waterfalls, rivers, trails, etc). I haven't tested its waterproof claim yet (been meaning to do so in my bathtub), but I have worn it while it rained, and the stuff in my backpack was absolutely dry! The zippers are hard to move, but that's because they are supposed to prevent water from seeping through. I do like how there is a pocket you can slip your phone into that you can see on the outside, and the material covering your phone is thin enough so that you can still touch your phone screen! I prefer this backpack to the other ones that have the openings at the top that you have to roll down - it's so much easier just being able to unzip the backpack and grab what I need! I think the only thing that tripped me up at first was the price point, but, other than that...I would highly recommend this backpack! Built like a tank and immediately felt better about the price. Only 2 things I find that could be better. 1 Zippers are tough to pull and require wax to make sure they don’t get stuck. 2 lacks a good amount of interior pockets for those who like excessive pockets in your bags. Design of the bag was kept simple to help with water proof-ness. Will say that if you don’t want to worry about what you put in the bag staying dry this is the bag for you.

I bought the Fogland 25L backpack for a St Thomas USVI trip where we had a boat outing where we had to swim into different bars/restaurants. Worked great, kept everything inside dry. I used it once with very little equipment inside and a lot of air and swam quite far with it but it blew a seam…I think too much air in the bag/too much pressure on the seams and the top seam blew. Got a hold of customer service, explained what happened and within 12 hours a new bag was being sent my way. One year warranty with exceptional service, would recommend to anyone. My thoughts are most dry bags make you roll down the top of the bag to get all of the excess air out of the bag so not to build up internal pressure so you don’t blow out a seam on the bag. Overall a fantastic product made in the US just let the excess air out before getting in the water with the bag.

These are definitely a must-have in marine environments, cold weather and in situations where clicking and rattling are a liability. These are polymer, so they don't scratch up finishes on metal and they DON'T GET JAMMED UP OR FROZEN IN SUB-FREEZING TEMPS. Non-magnetic, corrosion proof, no coating to rub off and are reasonably easy to open with gloves on. My only concern is gradual weakening from UV, but only time can tell if that is something to be concerned about.

As someone who is constantly traveling, spending a lot of time hiking, kayaking, and exploring - this backpack is perfect. It's waterproof, sturdy, has a ton of space, and looks great. Highly recommend!

i'll be honest here.. first aid kits usually aren't the first thing I think of when I head out the door. but this really has everything i need. the emergency blanket, dont know that ill ever use it but allways good to have one. fits in my car pretty easy. just a good thing to have.

I've depended on a lot of water resistent and waterproof backpacks for about a year and I could tell this is the real deal. There are two requirements to be waterproof: 1. the material 2. sealing any openings (zippers or roll tops). While roll tops are waterproof, it doesn't mean the openings are completely waterproof under pressure. Also, most roll top bags are built like sacks which serve a purpose but don't make good day packs. However, this bag uses drysuit zippers. But it also has several unique features I haven't seen on a zippable pack like this: 1. two mesh water bottle hoders (while a bit small, they do stretch; see picture), a laptop divider (no padding but should still hold up) 3. Most importantly, the same waterproof zippers on the front stash pocket. I got mine in Cordura which was a 10 dollar difference but is a top notch rip resistent perofrmance fabric. Overall, I do recommend this bag but I do wish it shipped flat (can see the crease in the middle but should be fine once used) and maybe a 30L/28L version with hip straps?
