The backpack is fantastic. Very spacious, particularly in depth. I love the simple layout, and it is very high quality. I very much appreciate the cup holders on the side but wish they were able to hold slightly larger vessels.

I fucking love it, I just wish there was one more exterior pocket towards the top for easy access to things. When your bag is on the ground in front of u (which often it is) it's much more convenient to get something quick out of a top pocket that's on the outside.. I truly believe with that addition it would be the best backpack I ever had.

I purchased this bag for a trip to Maui's rain forest. I knew we would be in and out of the water and that it would be raining some of the trip. This bag did not disappoint! Not one drop of water got in the bag. I put everything from my phone, camera, extra clothes and food in there. The 25L left lots of room to carry others items. I was a little worried the light color would look nasty after a day in the mud, but it cleaned up well. The bag actually floated upright which was nice when I was in deeper water. Would definitely buy again.

You know, how I found out about this bag is quite an accident. Was not promoted by anyone or seen it in the real world. I just see their videos of the backpack submerged in water and I was sold. Yesterday, I was in a grocery store, put my my backpack on the table. This group of seniors spilled water all over the table including my backpack and I am astonished to find my belongings are still dry inside. Works like magic!

As someone who admittedly nerds out over high-quality bags (especially since my time in the military) this Breakwater Supply IP68-rated waterproof tote hits all the right notes. Yes, it comes with a premium price tag, but in this case, you absolutely get what you pay for. We spend a lot of time at the beach, and this is the perfect size for keeping our critical items sandproof and dry: electronics, chargers, sunscreen, and even diapers now that we’re using it as a hybrid beach/diaper bag. The internal elastic retention system is a nice touch, it keeps things from rattling around and adds a layer of organization you don’t usually see in waterproof bags. The construction is excellent. The welds (for lack of a better word) are clean, durable, and clearly built for abuse. It’s lightweight when empty and folds down easily. Also worth mentioning: the zipper grease. If you’ve used waterproof zippers before, you know how vital that little packet of grease is — and the fact that it’s included shows real forethought by the manufacturer.

This is a fantastic bag. Good sized. Keeps everything dry. Compares to the YETI but much cheaper and the smaller size more for daily use.

I have been looking for an all black, high quality waterproof backpack that I can use for kayaking, the Narrows and carrying my camera equipment. This bag does all of that and still looks amazing! The amount of space is just right and the zippers are strong! I wish I had found this bag sooner.

Writing as a Divemaster, marine ecologist, and full-time PhD student who spends months of the year collecting data in the field. While I've yet to drag this backpack through its paces out on a fieldwork season, I've been pleasantly surprised with how robust it has been as an EDC backpack in adverse winter conditions. It's burly and rugged, and has a functionally minimalist design with plenty of external lash points and additional features. I picked this bag over alternatives such as the Patagonia Guidewater line or the Fishpond Thunderhead primarily because of its built-in laptop sleeve and double airtight pockets (one main compartment and one outside compartment). I don't regret this decision at all, and am pleasantly and plentifully surprised at how well-made and thought-out this product is. My only gripe so far is how small the external water bottle sleeves are—none of my water bottles fit in them, but it's also hard to whine about a feature that none of the other submersible packs on the market even have to begin with, so I digress. The hingeless carabiners are also sleek and functional and don't feel disposable. In short, this bag seems perfect for my demanding use cases, and my only suggestions are 1) bigger/more expandable water bottle sleeves, and 2) a clearer picture of Breakwater Supply's commitment to conservation and sustainability and how their products and materials reflect this focus. Use this as my fishing bag, love it. Enough room for multiple boxes, plus my scissors, pliers, measuring tape, etc. as well as snacks, my raincoat, and other misc items. Love it

Great backpack. Definitely waterproof. In the Philippines i was on a boat for a 5 day island hopping trip and this was my main bag. I brought a drone with me on the boat trip and when we'd anchor off an island Id zip up the back pack with my drone in it and swim to shore. I did this on many islands and never a drop of water got into the bag, Id even kind of swim with it as a flotation device submerging it a bit and no problem. Also nice when thunderstorms would come through areas when I was on motorbikes and would get drenched but didnt even need to worry a bit about my gear getting wet, I'd just throw my phone in the bag and keep going with a smile. As of now I definitely recommend this bag. Want a waterproof backpack? Get one from Breakwater Supply hands down. Much love

awesome backpack! was comparing this one to some of the competition like $300 the Yeti Panga. I was able to check out the Yeti at a store and The Breakwater Supply bag has the same if not BETTER quality than the Yeti backpack and only for a fraction of the cost! I would highly recommend Breakwater Supply waterproof backpacks to anyone looking for a fully waterproof submersible backpack.

All the way from Holland I am writing my excitement for this bag. I cannot wait to test it in BALI this January. And I mean, really test it. I've got water canyoning, mid quad rides and more planned. I am raving on the fact it's total waterproof and so far all the material seems of great quality. I wanted a bag that could last through everything on my day hikes. So I have cubes for my drone, lumix camera and action cam that devide the internal space. Then there's enough space left for a quick dry towel and everything. I'm a fan!
