These are definitely a must-have in marine environments, cold weather and in situations where clicking and rattling are a liability. These are polymer, so they don't scratch up finishes on metal and they DON'T GET JAMMED UP OR FROZEN IN SUB-FREEZING TEMPS. Non-magnetic, corrosion proof, no coating to rub off and are reasonably easy to open with gloves on. My only concern is gradual weakening from UV, but only time can tell if that is something to be concerned about.

I have been wearing the Halocline shoe for just over two weeks now and I find them to be very comfortable and cushy. I'm able to put them on easily although I see some people complain about the narrow fit, I guess if you wear wide width shoes it can be a bit challenging. I like that they are silent on most surfaces and can be worn in various situations, whether sports, casual or semiformal. I also like the reflective drawstring, it adds a nice touch. I will definitely be wearing them often. I wish that they fitted a bit higher over the ankles to ensure that water doesn't get inside the shoe. Overall it's an excellent product and I look forward to seeing a second iteration of it.

Quality! The details are what make this stand out. It does fit relatively snug, what most brands would call their "athletic fit". If you're in between then go up a size. Very happy with this. Will be looking forward to wearing it when it's colder.

This survival first aid kit itself is high quality and made in the same fashion as the dry bags that you would purchase for kayaking or canoeing. The size is ideal since it is big enough to have a robust amount of items that would be needed during a crisis situation, but small enough that it will fit under the seat in my Tacoma. However, it would also do well strapped to the outside of a ruck or in some easily accessible place in a boat or kayak. It is made of tough material so I do not anticipate snags being a serious issue, provided it is not subjected to excessive wear. After years in the military, the content reminds me of the things we had in our “combat life saver” bags. All of the needed things to perform self aid or buddy aid are present provided one has the appropriate level of training and familiarity with the items. This survival first aid kit seems to be designed for the more typical outdoors injuries of small cuts, burns, and abrasions. It does not come with things that are more suited to higher level trauma and wound care, such as Isreali bandages. Therefore, if you are looking for something outside of the hunting or combat realm, this survival first aid kit will suffice for nearly everyone.

I've depended on a lot of water resistent and waterproof backpacks for about a year and I could tell this is the real deal. There are two requirements to be waterproof: 1. the material 2. sealing any openings (zippers or roll tops). While roll tops are waterproof, it doesn't mean the openings are completely waterproof under pressure. Also, most roll top bags are built like sacks which serve a purpose but don't make good day packs. However, this bag uses drysuit zippers. But it also has several unique features I haven't seen on a zippable pack like this: 1. two mesh water bottle hoders (while a bit small, they do stretch; see picture), a laptop divider (no padding but should still hold up) 3. Most importantly, the same waterproof zippers on the front stash pocket. I got mine in Cordura which was a 10 dollar difference but is a top notch rip resistent perofrmance fabric. Overall, I do recommend this bag but I do wish it shipped flat (can see the crease in the middle but should be fine once used) and maybe a 30L/28L version with hip straps?

Has everything I need for trips in the woods . It's a very good kit for hunting, fishing, outdoors, and snowmobile trips or ATV . The bag is small and flexible. Easy to pack with other things . Supplies are good quality. Bandages are always a must and there's plenty. Survival equipment I am surprised by , in a good way. I spent a lot of time in the outdoors. Good to have that stuff and be prepared. Overall great kit and plan on keeping with me on my trips.

This backpack is heavy duty! I work as a camp counselor at an outdoor camp and have used it in various weather conditions (rain/shine) and at different nature spots (lakes, waterfalls, rivers, trails, etc). I haven't tested its waterproof claim yet (been meaning to do so in my bathtub), but I have worn it while it rained, and the stuff in my backpack was absolutely dry! The zippers are hard to move, but that's because they are supposed to prevent water from seeping through. I do like how there is a pocket you can slip your phone into that you can see on the outside, and the material covering your phone is thin enough so that you can still touch your phone screen! I prefer this backpack to the other ones that have the openings at the top that you have to roll down - it's so much easier just being able to unzip the backpack and grab what I need! I think the only thing that tripped me up at first was the price point, but, other than that...I would highly recommend this backpack! After having really bad experiences with supposedly waterproof dry bags and backpacks, I decided I need to do more research and be prepared to spend a little extra in order to get quality gear. When it comes to sensitive items that just can't get wet such as electronics, towels or layers of clothes designed to keep me warm, I don't want to take any chances. I found the gear I was looking for from Breakwater Supply. The River UTE backpack is exactly what I needed and more. It is completely waterproof and submersible. The lashing points are extremely handy for attaching the backpack onto my paddle board or kayak and they are also useful for attaching webbing that allows me to store wet gear such as water shoes or a wet towel on the outside as pictured. The pockets on the sides fit my tall smart water bottles perfectly and the velcro straps on the top sides fit around the cap of the bottle as if that's exactly what they were designed to do. There is a smaller waterproof zippered pocket for my wallet and keys. There is a much more heavy duty waterproof zipper for the main compartment. It stores my Nesso beach tent with the back lash straps holding the poles as pictured. With all that there's still loads of room inside the 20 l Main compartment for a towel, food and also an air inflator if I choose. My buddy likes to use the same backpack to store a miniature fishing pole and fishing gear. There are three additional compartments inside the main compartment of the backpack, but I may not need those until I want to hike with it in areas where I have to walk through water. From hiking and urban exploration to kayaking and paddle boarding, I am a big fan of functional multi-purpose gear and this backpack delivers in aces!

awesome backpack! was comparing this one to some of the competition like $300 the Yeti Panga. I was able to check out the Yeti at a store and The Breakwater Supply bag has the same if not BETTER quality than the Yeti backpack and only for a fraction of the cost! I would highly recommend Breakwater Supply waterproof backpacks to anyone looking for a fully waterproof submersible backpack.

These bags are truly waterproof! We have put them to the test during a rainy track season in the Midwest, and while visiting Niagara Falls--everything inside the bag has stayed dry in wet conditions. I would recommend these bags to anyone. The size options are great, and totally worth the price.
