By far the best waterproof bag I’ve ever used. It’s been on several scuba dive trips, boat rides, and even swimming with me on a excursion that had a water portion involved. Zero leaks, and it looks brand new after over a year, and multiple uses! Forget the price, you will have this bag for a long time. Totally worth it!

The straps are large strong and really high quality. I had lost one of mine that came with my River backpack, but upon my request these were made available through the website. I'm so grateful that this company is so accommodating.

New review: Top notch quality is one thing this brand does, but doing it repeatedly is what sets this brand apart. I would trust this brand with the safety of high value equipment transportation. Earlier I left a review at one, stating that it never arrived in the mail. This was due to me not physically being at that address and having to have someone look for me. We run an all-weather camera delivery in NYC. Seven days or a week rain, shine or blizzard. We immediately knew we were dealing with professional grade gear when we opened the box, these bags are seriously constructed and for our purposes, keep very expensive camera gear bone dry after 10 hours out in the rain. That being said, they did not completely forget about the style end of things , the backpack does not look like a rubber dry-bag and can totally be used as an every day commuter backpack etc. So it’s pretty much consensus amongst those who review these products that they are an extremely high-quality product, recently we had a zipper issue and I got to experience the customer service end of the Breakwater brand philosophy. Super supportive, knowledgeable and ultimately resolved our issue immediately and with full satisfaction. They really went above and beyond making sure we were 110% happy, and as a result of combining top shelf quality products with missionststement of full client satisfaction have created a lifelong customer out of me. That’s a wonderful bag that I decided to keep to go to work as I walk to work and currently live in Scotland. I also did day hiking in mountainous terrain and it was fine (of course it was not heavily charged). It can host a lot of stuff (sometimes too much!), contrary to most backpacks of the same volume, thanks to its format. It is also crafted with care, so should last for a while.

awesome backpack! was comparing this one to some of the competition like $300 the Yeti Panga. I was able to check out the Yeti at a store and The Breakwater Supply bag has the same if not BETTER quality than the Yeti backpack and only for a fraction of the cost! I would highly recommend Breakwater Supply waterproof backpacks to anyone looking for a fully waterproof submersible backpack.

I use this tote for everything! It's been essential all summer. Keeps everything dry and I love the exterior pockets for wet clothes or my water bottles. It's so hard to find a waterproof tote and this one is beautiful and comfortable.

Best backpack I've ever had. My life has already made many trips in the country and out of the country. I love it to death.

Purchased this backpack since it has been storming recently and needed to protect my electronics. Works perfectly. Initially the front zipper was extremely difficult to get open and thought I would break it if I pulled any harder but it eventually yielded. Wearing the backpack is comfortable but the inside is pretty barebones. Would have liked some softer material on the inside on the bottom for padding but I guess there are manufacturing limitations. Overall should be worth it if it protects my electronics even 1 time.

It’s fabulous. Period. To the person who wrote that the zippers are hard to pull, you just don’t know how to use a waterproof zipper. There are little tabs on both ends of the zipper. You hold the tab nearest the zipper in one hand and pull with the other hand. All truly waterproof zippers are like that.

Breakwater Supply’s warranty process exceeded my expectations—they sent a brand new waterproof backpack right away, with only a small shipping cost on my end. I never had to go without a bag, which made the whole experience incredibly convenient and stress-free.
