The backpack I received is of the highest quality. However, more importantly is the top notch customer service I received in asking questions and getting them answered……Great individuals and company to deal with!!!!

Easily the best backpack I could have bought for the conditions I am working in (Pacific Northwest coastal mud flats). Has kept my camera and optic gear dry and clean without a worry even in the wettest conditions. The material has been durable and I can see this bag lasting a while, being a very good investment.

I haven’t used it for that long, but the quality looks/feels nice. The zippers need a bit of a tug to open, but there are loops that help with opening the zippers easily. It looks waterproof, but I haven’t tested it yet.

This bag is awesome! Did exactly what we needed to do while in the mountains of the Dominican Republic. We literally let the bag float around in the springs while we jumped from spring to spring. It is not 100% waterproof as you can't sink it underwater and guarantee nothing won't get a little wet but it will float and keep your stuff dry from the splash and the rain which we were caught in while trekking back down the mountain. It is a really good quality bag. There is another from Breakwater Supply that is closer to 100% waterproof but is far more expensive may look into that one in the future but this bag works.

These are really handy little clips. I used them to clip negative onto my paddle board for storage.

Great backpack. Definitely waterproof. In the Philippines i was on a boat for a 5 day island hopping trip and this was my main bag. I brought a drone with me on the boat trip and when we'd anchor off an island Id zip up the back pack with my drone in it and swim to shore. I did this on many islands and never a drop of water got into the bag, Id even kind of swim with it as a flotation device submerging it a bit and no problem. Also nice when thunderstorms would come through areas when I was on motorbikes and would get drenched but didnt even need to worry a bit about my gear getting wet, I'd just throw my phone in the bag and keep going with a smile. As of now I definitely recommend this bag. Want a waterproof backpack? Get one from Breakwater Supply hands down. Much love

This backpack is heavy duty! I work as a camp counselor at an outdoor camp and have used it in various weather conditions (rain/shine) and at different nature spots (lakes, waterfalls, rivers, trails, etc). I haven't tested its waterproof claim yet (been meaning to do so in my bathtub), but I have worn it while it rained, and the stuff in my backpack was absolutely dry! The zippers are hard to move, but that's because they are supposed to prevent water from seeping through. I do like how there is a pocket you can slip your phone into that you can see on the outside, and the material covering your phone is thin enough so that you can still touch your phone screen! I prefer this backpack to the other ones that have the openings at the top that you have to roll down - it's so much easier just being able to unzip the backpack and grab what I need! I think the only thing that tripped me up at first was the price point, but, other than that...I would highly recommend this backpack! Well I'm not about to take it under Niagara Falls but I did purchase it for an upcoming cruise trip. Already signed up for multiple excursions one of them being to waterfalls in Jamaica. Holds plenty of stuff. The one gripe i have is that I wanted a brighter color but the black is still nice.

Insane bag! ALL the features are there. I am using it for outdoor activities and also school/work. You wont find another bag designed like this or with these specs anywhere else- and I've done my fair share of research. Customer service is amazing and this is a company you want to "root" for and support !

i stuffed it with containers of ice water that really put it to work testing the strength integrity and workmanship of all attachments and straps sewed and heat sealed together i found my BackPack out of all the manufacturers i carefully methodically located and purchased Break Water after reading other people’s review on and off their website on youtube videos and once home in my possession found it rugged strong robust brutal and likely to last years through the harshes environments and treatments i know i can count on Break Water additionally i purchased the first aid package i saw seemed fully capable of supplying the right people with handy supplies in the event first aid supplies is needed during my journeys Break Water yes expensive but today everything is getting more and more expensive luckily here you getting your money’s worth oh by the way i shopped this back pack because my last one which last some time but it blew out around the zipper and left a hole i don’t ever anticipate that and hope Break Water would stand behind its products in any event. thank you

Great for sloppy weather, boating, or casual wear.

I searched high and low for the perfect backpack to carry sensitive camera gear onto boats that often take saltwater splash, and deep puddles where I may need to stick my bag. This is it. It's perfect. I have had the zipper give me trouble a couple times over the years, but customer service is the best I've ever seen. They replace the bag straight way. I wish all companies cared this much. Can't recommend enough!

I bought my Fogland 25 L (in green canvas) two years ago. It is a marvellous product, technical and also nice, so much so that last year I used it to carry my laptop and day stuff to go to work in Scotland, used it for my field gear in Southern Mexico, and here in Canada to stuff my gear on kayak trips (it is huge and a lot fits inside). Everyone admires it, in town or outdoors, but even more than for its cool look, I love it for the craftsmanship. So far it looks like new, while most of similar products I have owned -and loved- started to show signs of wear and tear after two years.
