Use onboard a kayak for emergencies. Waterproof bag seems of good quality and is a better option over hard plastic which might crack and then leak.

I fucking love it, I just wish there was one more exterior pocket towards the top for easy access to things. When your bag is on the ground in front of u (which often it is) it's much more convenient to get something quick out of a top pocket that's on the outside.. I truly believe with that addition it would be the best backpack I ever had.

I purchased this bag for a trip to Maui's rain forest. I knew we would be in and out of the water and that it would be raining some of the trip. This bag did not disappoint! Not one drop of water got in the bag. I put everything from my phone, camera, extra clothes and food in there. The 25L left lots of room to carry others items. I was a little worried the light color would look nasty after a day in the mud, but it cleaned up well. The bag actually floated upright which was nice when I was in deeper water. Would definitely buy again.

This backpack is amazing at doing it's job. The waterproofing works flawlessly! Even though the plastic makes it hard to use at first, it eventually loosens up with use. For anyone wondering, the built in laptop holder is perfect for 14" laptops. Otherwise, I wouldn't try putting anything bigger than that.

Here comes the good news, this manufacture stands by there product with professional customer service and has provided a brand new Backpack after mine became damaged. awesome backpack! was comparing this one to some of the competition like $300 the Yeti Panga. I was able to check out the Yeti at a store and The Breakwater Supply bag has the same if not BETTER quality than the Yeti backpack and only for a fraction of the cost!
